Checking Up

Hey everyone I know it's been a long while. I just got a new job a month ago and so I haven't had time to write much. But here's another chapter for everyone. Good morning or good night wherever you are in the world.

Shania had decided to take a day off from the T. A. job. Since she had the addresses of Danica and Johnny she was gonna go investigate on her own. They would be at the school so she thought she shouldn't have a problem just looking around. " Okay 613 N Canon Dr, Beverly Hills, CA 90210 here we are" Shania said to herself. She made sure to park across the street. "Hopefully there won't be any noisy neighbors" she thought to herself. She crept across the street and went straight to the back of the house. Shania saw an open window and suddenly became Spider-Man. She climbed up 2 stories to get to the open window. When she climbed through she landed in one of the guest rooms. She walked out of the guest room and into a hallway. She made sure to walk slow in case maybe the husband was home. She didn't hear anything but she just wanted to be careful. She found her way into one of the bathrooms but there was nothing. So then she found Danica's room and walked inside quietly. Nobody was there so she went all the way in. She started to look through Danica's drawers but found nothing. Then she saw the walk-in closet and went inside. Shania saw a box that looked out of place. She then grabbed the box and looked inside. There was a bunch of papers and then there was a packet. On the packet it read "Divorce Agreement". "Damn I guess it ain't as sunny as she says. That would explain the affair she's been having with Johnny. I wonder does he know. I wonder does the husband know". Shania kept looking and there was some more paperwork that said Danica and her husband were being sued. "Being sued?" Shania said to herself. They were being sued for fraudulent practices in regards to ripping off one of her husbands former business partners. On top of that the paper said the business partner was threatening to cease their property if they didn't pay up. "Oh shit" Shania thought to herself. Shania wanted to take the papers with her but that would make things hot. How would she explain to Berlin and the Captain the way she got those papers? She thought Danica would never know it was her. She doesn't even know she's being investigated. Shania thought to herself she'd just find a copy machine and put the papers back. So she grabbed the papers and slowly went downstairs. There was an office near the back of the house and she went inside. There wasn't a copy machine but there was a scanner so she scanned in the documents and sent them to her work email. Afterwards she quickly went back upstairs to put the papers back where she found them. "These papers aren't much but they're something". Shania went back to the guess room and climbed back out the window. She jumped from the window into a bush and worked her way down the tree. She took a minute to just breathe. "What the fuck was I thinking? I gotta get outta here and fast". She ran across the street trying not to be seen. She got in her car and drove off. The crazy thing was Danica lived in a gated community. All she had to do was bribe the man at the gate and she was in there. Since Johnny lived right down the street she decided to go to his house. When she pulled up she saw a man knocking on the door. She couldn't see who it was so she made sure to stay low key. When the man turned around she saw it was the Captain. "What the fuck?" Shania thought to herself. She decided she better just come back another time before he saw her. She drove off and out the way she came. She made her way back to her house. Later that day she got a call from Berlin.

Shania: Hello

Berlin: Hey what happened to you today?

Shania: I had something I needed to do

Berlin: Is everything okay?

Shania: Yeah everything is fine

Berlin: Cool so did you find out anything else for the case?
