Sari's POV
"I told you, doc, we're fine," Bulkhead said as he pulled the cables off his chestplate.
"The only way to be certain you're fine, Bulkhead, is to endure standard defrosting procedure," Ratchet explained. "You know prolonged exposure to sub-zero conditions can cause permanent system damage."
"Ratchet, have you learned anything more about our Arctic find?" Optimus asked.
"Not yet. The pod can't be opened while it's frozen solid."
"Well, that complicates things quite a bit," I quipped.
"Arcee and I will search for any clue which might explain the origin of our Arctic find," Optimus said.
"Only until your sensors sound," Ratchet told the Prime. "Remember, once your core temperature drops into the blue zone, system failures aren't likely. They're imminent."
That's when Bulkhead and Bumblebee returned (I hadn't even realized they'd left) with Jack, Raf, and... Miko. Okay, face. Cool it. Really? My internal cooling fans too? Aaaaaaand here comes the increased spark beat.
"Miss us, doc bot?" Miko asked.
"Shouldn't they be in school?"
"On Saturday? We have the whole weekend off to spend with you."
"I wasn't expecting to carpool," Jack said. "What gives, Arcee?"
"Tag team, Jack," the femme told him. "It's my turn for exploration duty."
"Oh, too bad. It's a beautiful day for a ride. Would hate for you to feel guilty for leaving me indoors."
"Arctic exploration duty."
"Indoors where it's warm."
"The arctic?" Raf asked, looking up at Optimus. "I've always wanted to see snow."
"I would invite you to join, Rafael, but the conditions are much too extreme, even for we Autobots," Optimus explained to the boy.
"I... understand."
"But I will bring you back a snowball."
"That would be awesome."
Miko and I had since moved over to the couch, her arm draped across my back. I mean, seriously! My crush is just doing something so casual, and yet I'm just constantly blushing around her!
"That reminds me of the time when my world's Bumblebee defeated Blitzwing by using, as Prowl put it, his 'obnoxious personality,'" I told Miko in Modern Iaconic.
"How did he use that as a weapon?" she asked me.
"He got Blitzwing to transform from jet to tank and crash into the ice."
"Really? You got any snaps?" I pulled out my datapad, and went to the video of Bumblebee, Ratchet, and Prowl's battle with Blitzwing over the frozen Lake Erie.
"So what do we do now?" Animated Bumblebee asked. "Wait for him to turn back into a tank and crash like last time?"
"Nobody gets that lucky twice," Animated Ratchet said.
"Perhaps we can make our own luck," Animated Prowl suggested. "I've noticed a connection between Blitzwing's multiple personalities and his vehicle modes. We can use that weakness against him... but it will require using Bumblebee's greatest strength."
"What, my stingers?" TFA Bumblebee asked. "My turbo-speed?"
"Your obnoxious personality," Prowl fired back.
