Sari's POV

"Wait, WHAT?!" I exclaimed. "You... how... what?" Primus, my apparent sire, looked on with a smile as I attempted to process everything. Yeah, nope. Nothing's making sense anymore.

"I believe I can explain," he said. "While you believe you came to be within Isaac Sumdac's lab, that is not the case. During the reign of Sentinel Zeta Prime on Cybertron, I came to the realization that my children had lost all sense of direction because the Quintessons had laid waste to most of the historical records, and decided that they needed a reminder of the power that created them. And that, combined with my desire to have a child I could call my own, is what led to your creation."

"And these powers that I have?" I asked.

"Sari, do you recall the moment when the AllSpark reached out to you while you were in the Magnus Dimension?" Solus asked, and I nodded. "That moment triggered the fragment of our AllSpark to awaken within your spark."

"And what does this have to do with my newly discovered regenerative powers?" I asked.

"Sari, you aren't just Primus's daughter," Micronus spoke. "You are the AllSpark in physical form."

"Well, I certainly don't feel as powerful as I probably should," I grumbled.

"That's because Optimus, our youngest brother, and Princess Melody sealed the majority of the AllSpark within an indestructible container, and it currently resides deep within Theta Scorpii," Prima explained.

"The most dangerous star system in this galaxy?" I asked.

"Indeed," Alpha Trion said. "Not even Megatron would dare attempt to traverse the dangerous cosmic storms." Suddenly, I heard Melody calling out to me.

"It would seem that it is almost time for you to wake up, my daughter," Primus said.

"Yeah, but real quick, I just have one more question," I replied. "Isn't Sentinel Melody's sire?"

"Sari, Sentinel was never her sire." Primus told me. "He simply had her memories altered to make her believe that he was."

"Okay, then, who were her parental units?" I asked.

"Melody's parental units were King Halcyon and Queen Harmonica," Primus explained. "Oh, and you can use your powers to remove the seal that Sentinel placed on her true pre-war memories."

"Thanks, I'll keep that in mind," I said as I finally woke up.

Opening my optics, I let out a groan as I was immediately greeted with a full-body ache.

"Owwww," I groaned. Melody, who had apparently been watching me, woke up, and immediately threw her arms around me, sobbing.

"I thought I lost you!" she cried as we held each other.

"You know I'd never leave you unless I had a good reason to," I said as I ran my fingers through her hair. "So, what's everyone been up to while I was out?"

"Well, Bulk went all science-brain thanks to an ancient data cylinder, but we were able to get his mind back," she explained. "And then Ratchet decided to test what turned out to be an incomplete formula for Synthetic Energon... on himself. Needless to say, he said and did some things that he regrets."

"Where is he now?" I asked, getting up.

"What are you doing?" Melody asked. "You should be resting."

"I'm fine, Mellie," I said. "In fact, the stab wound isn't even there."

"What?" she exclaimed. "How?"

"I'll explain later," I told her. "Right now, I need to test something." Placing my thumbs on Melody's temples, I removed the barrier within her mind.

"What... what did you just do?" she asked as she recoiled back.

"I'm trying to restore your memories," I explained.

"My memories are just fine!" Melody snapped.

"Not your pre-war memories," I said, looking down.

"What do you mean?" Melody asked me.

"Sentinel Prime isn't your sire," I told her. "Just before the war broke out, he offlined your real sire, kidnapped you, and brainwashed you to believe he was your sire. All while placing a barrier within your mind to keep you from regaining your real memories."

"Is that what you were trying to remove?" she asked.

"Yes," I said. "Once I can remove the barrier, the false memories he put in your processor should disappear as well."

"Okay," Melody said after a few moments. "Let's get this over with." Immediately, I placed my servos exactly where they'd been, and successfully shattered the barrier within Melody's processor. By the time I released her helm, she had tears streaming down her cheeks. "He... he lied to me!" she blubbered out as I held her through another round of sobs.

"Well, one thing's for certain," I said in an attempt to lighten the mood. "Now you know you got your name and fascination for music from your carrier, the late Queen Harmonica." Melody looked at me with a small smile.

"And my adventurous side?" she asked.

"Pretty sure you got that from your sire, King Halcyon," I said.

"By the way, I didn't want to ask, but what's up with the echo in your voice?" she asked me.

"Oh, right," I said. "I actually met the Primes while I was out. And I met my sire."

"Your sire?" Melody asked.

"Yup," I said.

"Who?" she asked.

"Primus," I said.

"Seriously?" Melody asked with an unimpressed look.

"Yeah, apparently I'm the physical embodiment of the AllSpark," I explained.

"You don't seem all that powerful," she quipped.

"That's because most of my power rests deep within Theta Scorpii," I revealed. Later on, after the humans had gone home, and I had been cleared to leave the hospital bed provided by June, I explained everything that I had learned while in stasis. Needless to say, after all was said and done, everyone's optics shone with a feeling I hadn't felt myself in a long time. Hope.
