RYAN HAD FOUND HER WAY to her old room. It had been years since she had stepped foot in this place, but it still felt so familiar. The same black and white plaid bedding on her old mattress.

Deja Vu washed over her.

She had just begun unpacking her bag when she heard footsteps approaching her door. Her head turned in direction of the noise, and called out " Come in! "

The door slowly opened to reveal Rachel. " I didn't even knock, how did you?-" She paused, mentally answering her own question. " Ah, right. The super hearing. "

Ryan chuckled at her realization, continuing to unpack.

" Does that ever drive you crazy? " Rachel asked. " Being able to hear everything all the time? "

" Well, I can't hear everything but I just get use to it. Does it ever drive you crazy how you can feel everything all the time? "

" Well, I can't feel everything. " Rachel stated, playfully mocking her friend which caused Ryan to elicit chuckle. " But I think I am starting to get use to it. "

The younger teen sat on the bed, next to where Ryan was unpacking. A small moment of silence passed as Rachel tried to figure out the best way to convey what she wanted to. " Speaking of me feeling everything. "

Ryan stopped for a moment. A skeptical look forming on her face as she looked over at the girl. " Okay...? "

" Listen, Ryan, I know you said you were fine. " Ryan opened her mouth to speak, but Rachel beat her to it. " But! But, I just wanted to say that I know you aren't. You don't have to talk about it or anything, I just want to say that if you did ever want to talk...You can always talk to me. "

Ryan put away the last bit of her stuff, silently thinking over Rachel's words. Ryan knew that Rachel didn't mean to pry, she probably didn't want to feel all of Ryan's emotions. Hell, Ryan didn't even want to feel them.

At Ryan's silence, Rachel awkwardly stood up and began making her way towards the door.

" Rachel, wait. " Ryan called out. " I'm sorry that you have to feel or see all the things that I have. I don't even want to have to deal with it, and it sucks that you have to. "

A sympathetic smile grew on Rachel's face. " I'm sorry that you had to go through. "

Another moment passed, the two friends appreciating such a genuine moment. Then a sudden idea popped into Ryan's head.

" You know what? Let's go do something. " Ryan offered. " We deserve to go do something fun. "

" What do you want to do? "

" Me, you, and the guys can go buy some more clothes or room decorations or whatever. "

" That's nice, but I don't have any money. "
