Sophie: Hello, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to episode four of Da Lightwood Radio Show. I'm Sophie Lightwood.

Cecily: I'm Cecily Lightwood.

Gabriel: I'm Gabriel Lightwood.

Gideon: And I'm Gideon Lightwood.

Sophie: Today it was Gideon's turn to choose the theme. He chose:

Gideon: I chose CANDY.

Cecily: Really? You can choose anything and you choose candy?

Gideon: I couldn't think of anything else. I was hungry when I chose.

Gabriel: I'm pretty sure that everyone guessed that.

Sophie: No. We haven't. You can just start.

Gideon: 'Kay. So, people. There's many kinds of candy. These include spicy candies, sugary candies, sour candies, sweet candies, salty candies, pretty much every flavor, really.

Gabriel: Salty? What kind of horrid thing have you been eating?

Gideon: I'm sure that at least one culture makes salty candy.

Sophie: I suppose.

Cecily: Don't you think that our audience is waiting to hear who the guest is?

Sophie: Ah, yes. Okay, people. So, today there is no guest.

Gabriel: If they haven't guessed that already, they are truly the opposite of bright.

Cecily: Gabriel!

Gabriel: What?

Cecily: Don't be rude.

Gabriel: Fine.

Cecily: And apologize.

Gabriel: Not sorry, Reeses.

Cecily: What?

Gabriel: Reeses are candies of the future. They usually consist of mainly peanut butter and chocolate. Oddly delicious.

Gideon: Been off in the future again, eh? Ay dios mio.

Gabriel: So? Candy is today's theme, is it not? Well, 'not sorry, Reeses' is what someone says on the radio when advertising for them. There's also strange technology in the future. Such as-

Gideon: The theme is not technology. It's candy.

Sophie: Some candies are swirly in shape, whereas some are flat or round.

Cecily: I like peppermint sticks.

Gideon: Nobody asked you.

Gabriel: Let her be.

Gideon: Why?

Gabriel: Because I said so.

Sophie: It's Cecily's turn to sing, right?

Gideon: Yes. About candy.

Cecily: Okay, I will do it.

Oh candy

Is better than brandy

Made of sugar

Rather than liquor

Peppermint

Caramel

Chocolate

And more

So many candies to adore

Many candies people love

Better not be stolen by the doves

If candy failed to be invented

Than our hearts would be permanently dented

Oh candy

Is better than brandy

Made of sugar

Rather than liquor

Peppermint

Caramel

Chocolate

And more

So many candies to adore

Candy is good

Eaten by many a Lightwood

So, hey!

Let's eat some Good & Plenty

Oh candy

Is better than brandy

Made of sugar

Rather than liquor

Peppermint

Caramel

Chocolate

And more

So many candies to adore

I'm gonna eat it

Luckily there is no pit

Rainbows and Tootsie Rolls

Oh candy

Is better than brandy

Made of sugar

Rather than liquor

Peppermint

Caramel

Chocolate

And more

So many candies to adore

Gabriel: I- that was nice.

Gideon: Well. Nice melody, Cecy.

Sophie: I like it.

Cecily: Thanks.

Gideon: You're welcome, now what else should we say about candy?

Gabriel: Um. I don't know?

Sophie: Well then. Since no one has anything else to say. I suppose that we should wrap it up. Okay, ladies and gentlemen. We hope that you liked this episode of Da Lightwood Radio Show. Goodbye, everyone.

Cecily: Bye!

Gideon: Adios.

Gabriel: Well you certainly are speaking a lot of Spanish today, brother.

Gideon: Just say your farewell so we can end the show.

Gabriel: Your farewell.

Gideon: That's not what I meant.

Gabriel: I know, brother. Farewell. Mizpah. Whatever suits your fancy. Bye.
