Sophie willed her eyes to open and found the boy smiling back at her. She froze. She was lost for words...
So, she did what any normal person would do....
Sophie slowly got up, picked up her bag, and...
bolted for the door.
On with the story!
Sophie's POV
Sophie had mentally cursed herself several time after the... incident yesterday.
The next morning Sophie decided that she wanted to blend in even more than the day before.
She chose very neutral colours, a pair of black leggings, and a brown woolen sweater over top of a plain white T-shirt.
Which turned out to be a massive mistake because when she got to school everyone seemed to be wearing HEAPS of colour.
Actually... that was probably an understatement.
Sophie sighed exasperatedly. (Woah, I just used such a big brain word! I'm so proud of myself lmao)
After her useless attempts to blend in for four whole periods, Sophie gave up and decided to go look for a new reading spot.
She walked around for a little while, not finding anything.
As Sophie rounded a corner, she collided with someone.
All that went through her mind as she fell to the ground was-
please don't be that boy, please don't be that boy!
Thank god it wasn't!
It turns out she'd bumped into a girl.
Correction: A beautiful girl.
She had flowy brown hair and shimmering teal eyes. Her clothes looked immaculate. (omg! Another big brain word? Woohoo!)
Ofcorse they did. The brunette looked like she belonged on the cover of a magazine, not at school.
"I'm so sorry," Sophie said as she helped the girl to her heeled feet.
"Oh, don't worry about it." She said as she managed to somehow look graceful as she stumbled up. "You're the new girl, ay?"
"uh, y-yeah." Sophie stammered.
"I think we have a few classes together," She continued. " I'm Biana, What's your name?"
"Sophie."
"Well," Biana said as she streched out her hand. "Nice to meet you Sophie."
"Nice to meet you too, Biana." And with that they shook hands.
"Hey, do you want to come over to my house this afternoon?" Biana asked with a cheerful smile. " My brothers friend is always at our house and we play games (which I beat their ass's in, by the way), it would be nice to have a friend my age around for once."
And there it was.
Friend
"a-a-yeah s-sure i'd love to! Sophie exclaimed. "I'll quickly text my parents."

Sophie: hey m and d can i go 2 my friends 🏠after school??
Edaline: oh yes honey, ofc u can
Grady: wait, is it a BOY!?
Sophie: No dad its a girl from some of my class's
Grady: ok...

Sophie POV
"They said yes." I told Biana, making her literally jump up and do a little dance. I giggled.
"ok," Biana said eventually. "We've got English next!"

Lil notes while sophie and biana r in 'English' cos that would be way too boring to write or read about in my oppinion (i'd much rather get to the juicier stuff) also just so yk to make life easier basically everyones in the same yr group. ik some of u might get a lil grumpy but eh it is how it is ig. but i hope u guys r enjoying reading! also i'm probs goona do some like 'specials' for like different things but obvi i cant spoil sooooooo ig you'll have to wait n see.

The walk from school to Biana's house wasn't very long. They talked the whole way. It turned out that the guy her parents got the house off was Biana's dad. Alden Vacker.
When they got to Biana's house, Sophie's jaw dropped. it was practically a literal freaking mansion!
"Come on!" Biana said, pulling Sophie out of her mesmerized state. "My brother and his friend are this way."
They walked to a tree but before they reached it Sophie froze.
There standing in the shade of a tall oak tree was the boy from yesterday.
And as his stare locked with her his eyes widened. Neither of them could move.
They were frozen solid.
