〚Your P.o.v〛
I walked down the hallway of the school, catching glances of people staring at me. I don't get why people are still looking, I moved here like 4 months ago. My brother, who was walking beside me, was oblivious to the attention we were receiving. Whenever we move to a new place, we usually catch the attention of most people. I don't know why, but I do know that I hate it. I hate being around so many people. And most of all, I hate having so much attention directed toward me.
"(Y/n)! Dovahkiin! Hi!" Wendy ran up to us.
I greeted her with a smile, "Hey Wendy," I said shortly.
Wendy Testaburger; she was one of the first people to introduce themselves to us when we arrived. She was nice enough, from what I could tell. She's the captain of the cheer team and president of the student body for those in their senior year. We were in the same grade, and had a few classes together, so she's become a good friend of mine. She was pretty chatty, a real feminist, and a natural leader. What's not to like? She's been pretty nice to me so far and introduced me to all the other girls. I befriended all of them, despite not really liking some of them, due to their plastic personalities.
I'd rather be nice to everyone to avoid unnecessary attention or drama. Keep it boring, and simple. That's how I plan to live the rest of my life.
"(Y/n), over here—" I heard a stoic voice.
Looking over, I saw Craig, with Tweek, Tolkien, Jimmy, and Clyde.
"I'll see you guys later," I waved to Wendy and Dovahkiin to go join Craig's gang. I didn't normally hang out with groups of people, but this was an exception. I was basically forced to join because of a certain someone.
The way things happened was the first week I came here, Clyde would flirt with me nonstop. And of course, I absolutely hated it. It was my first week at a new school, and some annoying jock dude wouldn't stop hitting on me. Eventually, I went out of my way to hide from him, and he took offense to this. Like, major offense! In the end, I found him crying, and it resulted in me comforting him in my arms on the floor of an empty classroom. Yes, I do think I gave in to him very quickly, but anything to defend my peace.
I want to have a high school life with no drama whatsoever.
But anyway. After that experience, Clyde started treating me more like a friend, and began dragging me nonstop to hang out with friends. And thus, I am now an honorary member of Craig's gang. Oh, joy.
"Hello..." I greeted blankly.
They all greeted with a smile, except for Craig who remained blank. I looked up at him, and he glanced at me before looking away. He was the second person I felt most comfortable with in the group. The first obviously being Clyde, considering he just forced his way into my life.
"(Y/n)! Did you hear that Bebe's throwing a party tonight? You have to come!" Clyde said.
I smiled warmly at him, catching him off guard,
"No way in hell man." I was about to walk off from the group, until Tolkien grabbed the back of my hoodie, keeping me from moving.
"Agh! We shouldn't force her if she doesn't wanna go!" Tweek said.
Oh Tweek, he's always defending my introverted decisions. He's truly my ally in all this.
"It's your first party of the year (Y/n)! Give it a chance!" Tolkien said.
"Y-Y-Yeah! I mean c'mon! What's the worst that could happen?!" Jimmy said.
"I could get drugged and raped." I said blankly.
