〚Your P.o.v〛
It's been a week. I've been hanging out with Kyle, and Stan a lot. My social anxiety is getting better, which is nice, but my feelings for Kyle haven't subsided in the slightest. At the end of the whole thing that happened with Clyde, he ended up sleeping over.
We talked all night, and it ended with him encouraging me to try to ask Kyle out. But I wonder how that'll turn out since he knows my original plan was to never date. Ugh, but when's the right time to ask him out?! Today? Tomorrow? My anxiety is off the roof right now, I just want to ask him and get it over with. The best outcome is he rejects me so I can just move on from him. The worst outcome is he feels the same way and we start a relationship...
If I start a relationship, there'll be more problems, more vulnerability, and more chances at getting my feelings hurt. This is all way too much pressure! AGH!—
"Agh!" Tweek shrieked.
"Tweek it's fine, don't worry too much," Craig comforted Tweek.
"Hey guys, do you know what Kyle's last period class is?" I asked.
It was after school, and I was standing outside of culinary class with Craig, and Tweek. "I— agh! I-I just had 6th with him, it's in room 36 down the hall left to the cafeteria," Tweek explained.
"Okay, see ya guys—" I was going to walk off, until Craig grabbed the back of my backpack making me stop in my tracks.
"What're you planning?"
"I'm gonna ask Kyle out—"
"No!" Tweek and Craig said in sync. I looked at them in surprise. I tilted my head in confusion, before frowning, "Why not?"
"Your world of peace (Y/n)! If you date, it'll be too much pressure! I don't want you to get hurt!" Tweek shrieked.
"You're dating, and you seem just fine," I said to Tweek.
"Clyde probably talked you into this, huh?" Craig said.
"Yeah. I told him how I felt about Kyle, and he told me I was in love. And apparently, it's really hard to make yourself stop loving someone... so... this is the next step. I just wanna get it over with so I stop being anxious."
Craig sighed. "Do what's best for you. But promise me, if anything ever goes wrong, you come to me first—"
"But Clyde—"
"Clyde wasn't there the first time. We. Were." He said firmly. I nodded, keeping my eyes locked on him.
"Good luck, (Y/n)! Call us later to tell us how it turns out!" Tweek neared me, giving me a good luck hug. I returned it, and waved to the two. I made my way through the halls to look for Kyle. Who knows, maybe he left already. As I neared his class, the hallways became emptier and emptier. Finally, making a turn, I saw his back.
I was about to call out to him, until I realized he was talking to someone else.
I quickly hid by a locker to listen in.
"Hi, Kyle, thanks for helping with English again, you're so sweet," A feminine voice said.
"No problem Rebecca, but y'know I'm the TA in that class, so I'm supposed to help students," He said.
"Oh, uh, haha.." She trailed nervously.
Who is Rebecca?...No... was I too late? Is someone asking Kyle out before me?
"So, what did you want to talk about?" Kyle asked.
"Oh, uh, well, are you busy, I'd like to hang out more to tell you..."
