"Alright, everybody OUT! NOW! THE PARTY IS OVER!" shouted Tyler in a rush with the microphone in his hands. "OUT! OUT! THE POLICE ARE COMING!" Gabriel also followed with another microphone, running to the front door and opening it. The people were shocked by their sudden reaction with whispers, like, "Is this part of the act?" "I don't think they are serious." and so on.

"WE ARE SERIOUS!! RUN BEFORE YOU GET BUSTED!!" both Tyler and Gabriel yelled and the raging crowd was scattered immediately running towards the exit.

After everyone was gone, they both ran up the stairs and opened Julie's bedroom door.

"Hey, are you okay?" Tyler asked as he walked towards Julie on the bed. Gabriel did the same and he held her ice cold hand.

"W-w-what is going on..." Julie stuttered looking at Tyler and Gabriel.

"It is all part of the process. Don't worry," Tyler assured her as he tucked a strand of hair loose on her pale face to her ear. The strand had turned white.

Everything is about to change.

About six hours earlier... Julie's P.O.V

The hands on the clock showed that it was six o'clock in the evening when students started to rain down to the party. Jason was the deejay of the party, well, we didn't have the deejay equipment but he was in charge of organizing the party songs through a CD player connected to sets of speakers that Dad rented from an electronic shop. However, the classic deejay got himself a lot of female admirers crowding around him and dancing. Needless to say, it was a lucky night for Jason. More like, Jackpot.

There wasn't an empty spot large enough for a dance floor in the house so we arranged an outdoor dance floor with a set of speakers in the corner. The good thing is that we lived in a pretty deserted place without any neighbors, or else, none of this would have been possible. And everyone loved the dance floor. Jason sure knew which songs to pick, and he only picked the kind of songs that send monkeys through your veins and make you unable to resist the urge to break it down on the floor. The beats were pure crazy and the crowd was riling and cheering like a classic live show.

And Tyler and Gabriel, well, I don't even think they remember about the 'safety-is-first' promise. They were on the dance floor all the time dancing with some girls, more like, the girls dry humping them. Honestly, are Tyler and Gabriel in the 'hot list'? Yes, of course they are. With their sculpture-like faces and hot bodies, those boys are definitely in the list. Since they suddenly appeared as students at the school, girls have described them as 'mysterious' and that 'turned them on'. Oh, those girls and their hormones. Their popularity has been rising well and Tyler even brings some girls to dates. Gabriel doesn't, however, stating that 'he is not here for that mess'. Why are they actually here for, by the way?

Rina was chatting with her friends the whole time and I could see that she was having fun. Being an outgoing person Chloe was, she was going around the house (seriously, just round and round) fake-bumping into some good-looking guys and flirting with them. It's no secret that Chloe is a flirt, she even practices flirting with Jason sometimes which always turns out pretty hilarious because they were insulting each other more than flirting.

Well, you might be thinking what I am doing as well. Riddle me this: If I am doing something and having fun, how would I be able to know what all of my friends are doing in the same time?

Yes, I am not having fun at all.

Every one of my friends has more friends whom they chose to hang out with. Me? They are the only friends I have and now that they are gone, I do not have anyone to hang out with. I was sitting on a stool eating whatever's left in the fridge. We didn't even have a chance to cut a birthday cake and celebrate my birthday. They didn't even know it was a birthday party. None of the guests gave me presents at all and all they knew was to party, party more and dry hump people.

In addition, I have a very unusual sensation going on in my stomach. I don't know how to name it. I feel something ramming around my stomach, making me uncomfortable as if it were butterflies in my stomach. But I am sure my butterflies were resting in peace for the time being because I am not experiencing any excitement from the party and Jack Millers hasn't even arrived to the party.

The thought of Jack made my heart race as I looked at the wall clock to check the time. It was a quarter to eight. A flash of worry crossed my mind. I noticed that Raymond and the gang have already made it to the party when they greeted me a while ago. Why is he the only one late? Is he not coming?

All my attention went to the front door when it flew open. There came in Jack Millers, looking so delicious in his plain T-shirt and casual jeans. Yes, he is plain but he is delicious in every way.

Uggh, me and my hormones.

The sight of Jack made me feel like there were monkeys playing with coconuts in my stomach. My whole body started to warm up and my throat went dry. He looked around the house as if he were searching for something...or someone, perhaps ME?? When he spotted me staring at him about three feet away, he flashed a small smile and walked towards me.

"Hey, birthday girl," he greeted, his eyes gleaming beautifully. "Why so lonely?"

"Lonely? No, I am not lonely! I am just...you know, so tired of dancing my monkeys out that I..." I trailed off, realizing that what I just said was totally ridiculous.

Jack bursted out laughing. "Dancing your monkeys out? What is that, a new slang?" he asked, probably making fun of me.

"Anyway, here's your birthday present," he said as he pulled out a small box from his jean pockets. "That's why I am pretty late."

Woh, woh, woh. Wait a minute there.

Jack Millers, the Jack Millers, not only attended my birthday party but also prepared a birthday present for me?? The only person who remembered to give me a birthday present was Jack Millers, only my long-term crush for years??

Coconuts hit the monkeys' nuts.

"Hello? Earth to Jules?" Jack's voice cut me off from my thoughts.

"Oh...oh yeah. Thank you for your birthday present," I said taking the box with a small smile. "You see, I was just a bit stunned because no one actually bothered to give me birthday presents."

"Oh. Well, at least you have one now," Jack said, trying to comfort me.

"Can I open it now?" I asked as I lifted the lid of the box.

"Wait! Not now," Jack yelled, rather instantly, as he stopped my hands from opening the box. "Open it when the party is over. I'm just afraid...you will lose it in this crowd."

"Okay, let me just secure this in my bedroom," I said as I left him and went upstairs.

"Oh, the bedrooms are secure?" Jack asked jokingly.

"Haha, very funny. Of course! They are under my watch," I replied and with that, I raced to my bedroom. I opened the door and jumped in.
