Chapter 5

"Julie!!!" a familiar voice stung my ear.

"What?" I groaned,moving to the other side of my bed.

"Wake up!!!" another familiar voice stung my ear again.I finally opened my eyes slightly.

"What time is it?" I asked in a cracked voice.

"An hour until school." another familiar impaient voice stung my poor ear again.This time my brain took the message and pounded the emergency alarm.My mouth automatically yelled "WHAT?" and my whole body immediately got up.

Nice body system,Julie.

My eyes looked around the three heads looking at me.

"Chloe?Jason?Rina?Why are you here?" I asked,surprised.

"To wake you up,of course!" said Rina,frowning."How could you sleep in a day like this?"

"Huh?What day is it?" I asked again,trying to recall the answer.Everyone seemed surprised.

"Don't you remember,Jules?It's a big day for you!" cooed Chloe.

"You are meeting new people today!" exclaimed Rina.

"Am I supposed to?" I questioned.Everyone gasped.

"What?" everyone yelled at me."We sent you a voicemail!!"

"Really?" I quickly checked my phone.

*(1) new voicemail*

I opened it.Chloe,Jason and Rina were sitting on a couch,probably at Rina's house.As soon as I opened it they sang in harmony:

*Julie!Oh Juuuuulie!!!

You are going to meet new people tomorrow!!! 

Get up early and get dressed!!

We love you!!*

"Wow." I said. "You guys could get an oscar for creating the worst music ever."

"Enough with the jokes,Jules." Jason said."We phoned your dad this morning and he informed that you haven't waken up yet.So we dropped by."

"We are running out of time,guys!" shouted Chloe."Let's get Jules dressed."

"Yeah!" everyone exclaimed as they gathered around my wardrobe and opened it in harmony.

Next thing I hear is gasps escaping from everyone's mouths.

"Julie,I am putting your wardrobe into my top 10 horrifying things I have seen." said Chloe,disappointed.

"Look at your shabby clothes,Jules!" screamed Jason like a little girl.

"Hey,they are not shabby." I folded my arms,staring at Jason.I felt a chill ran through my body.

No,no,no,no,no,no,no,Jules.You can't just freeze your best friends just because they say you have shabby clothes,Jules!Calm down!

Ice spikes were ready to escape through my body.But I concentrated on controlling them.

Don't.Don't.Don't.Julie Ann Daniella,don't.

Suddenly,the feeling vanished.

I feel normal again.

"Great,I can control this power!" I cried mentally.But when I looked up,I saw everyone staring at me.

"Julie,what's going on?You looked like a zombie then." Chloe said,hiding behind Rina and Jason.

"Nah,you watched too much crap,girl." I said,laughing.

"No laughing matter here,Jules!" said Rina."You need nice clothes because you need first impression!"
