"Wow that's very pretty." Baek Yoora exclaims as she stares at the paper swan in my hand.

"Thank you." I say quietly. "You can keep it."

Her eyes widen. "R-really?"

I nod and hand her the black swan. She flashes me a wide smile and walks away after a cheerful thank you.

I was the quiet 'artsy' kid in class. Everyone knew who I was, and everyone knew I didn't need anything except a piece of paper to keep my company. They knew I didn't have any close friends, so they'd let me sit with them at lunch.

I was quite famous for my origami, and every kid in my class has probably received one of my creations.

I pick another piece of paper from my desk, this one was blue. I decide to make a paper butterfly this time, they always looked so pretty in blue.

The class bell rung but I didn't pay much attention to it. The class teacher walked in, said something I didn't quite catch, I was too focused on folding the wings perfectly.

Then, a certain voice caught my attention.

"Hello everyone. I'm Kai Kamal Hueining... nice to meet all of you."

The shy boy gave his awkward introduction, a bright smile on his face. His face strongly resembled a greek sculpture, a western charm to his features.

It would be nice to draw him.

"You can sit next to Y/n, Hueningkai." The teacher announced and gestured towards me.

Kai's dark eyes find mine and gives me an awkward yet warm smile. I return it, trying to convey the same warmth.

He walks towards me as class begins, sitting down next to me quietly.

"I'm Hueningkai, nice to meet you." He whispers.

"Y/n, nice to meet you too." I say back quietly.

I didn't need to whisper, I doubt my normal voice was loud enough for him to hear.

He probably studied well, because he payed good attention to the classes. He caught up quickly, never once confused or left behind. He'd ask me for help quietly, respecting that I was a woman of few words.

I liked sitting with Kai, he complimented my quiet atmosphere. Sitting with him felt nice, and every breeze from the window seemed calmer when I notice how it ruffles his brown hair.

I really should ask if i could draw him.

"Want to sit with us at lunch Hueningkai? I'm Beomgyu, and this is Taehyung" The boys approached our desks. "Y/n will be joining us."

I never said I would join them. They just drag me along because they didn't want me to eat alone in class like a loser.

"Sure. Its nice to meet you two." Kai's smile was so bright that I could see his eyes sparkle.

The three of us headed to the cafeteria, Beomgyu loudly leading the conversation, laughing and joking with Kai. It was nice to see them get comfortable around each other, and i could see Kai's confidence growing.

Taehyun as always, walked silently beside me. He was another kind soul who respected my lack of energy to socialise, and provided comfort with silence.

We ate lunch, Beomgyu and Hueningkai talking excitedly, and Taehyun inserting his funny deadpan comments every now and then. I liked to listen to them talk, but Kai's expectant eyes whenever Taehyun murmured something to me made me uncomfortable. It was like he expected me to join their conversation too.
