Hadley pov

My mom parked in front of the door at the set and I got out of the car.

Lily - "Have a good day, sweetie. Call me if anything"

Hadley - "I will, Mom. Love you"

Lily - "Love you too, sweetheart. I'll see you later"

She drove off and I walked in. I saw Dove, Blake and a few extras, but I didn't see Jennifer. We filmed the first few scenes, then on our break, I went up to Gabriel to ask him;

Hadley - "Hey, Gabriel"

Gabriel - "Oh, hi, Hadley. Is there something I can help you with?"

Hadley - "Actually, I was wondering where Jennifer is today"

Gabriel - "I must have forgotten to mention it this morning. She had a presentation today at Clinton High School"

Hadley - "Wait. Clinton High School?"

Gabriel - (nods) "I believe so, yes. Is everything okay?"

Hadley - "Uh, yeah. Everything is fine. Thanks, Gabriel"

He nodded and I walked off. So, Jennifer was doing a presentation at Jordan and Phoebe's school. I wondered how that was going to go. Oh well, I would ask them when we saw each other at home. I went to the coffee stand, when I felt someone watching me. I turned around to see Blake staring at my ass.

Hadley - "Can I help you with something?"

Blake - "Just admiring my hot girlfriend"

Hadley - "I'm not your girlfriend, Blake. We're only dating on the show"

Blake - "Well, that's not what the fans think. Or what they will think, anyways"

Hadley - (scoffs) "What did you do, Blake?"

Blake - (smirks) "You'll find out soon enough"

Dove - "Leave her alone, Blake"

Blake - "And what if I don't? What are you gonna do about it?"

Dove - (mocks) "You'll find out soon enough"

Blake - "Whatever. This isn't over yet, Hadley"

He walked away and I let out a sigh of relief.

Hadley - "Thanks, D"

Dove - "Don't let him get to you. He's not worth it"

Hadley - (sighs) "Yeah. So what's up?"

Dove - "Not much. I actually kind of wanted to ask you something..."

Hadley - "Go for it"

Dove - "Jordan... Do you know, by any chance, if he's single?"

For a reason unbeknownst to me, I tensed up.

Hadley - "Um, yeah. I think so"

Dove - "I know it's a bit weird to ask because you two are close, but do you think he'd accept if I asked him out on a date?"

Hadley - "I-I don't know. You'd have to ask him"

Dove - "Okay, thanks, Had! I have to go and film another scene now"

Hadley - "See ya"

She walked away and I stood there, frozen. Why was I acting so weird about this? I was happy for Jordan. Right? I went back to film my other scenes, but the whole day, I couldn't stop thinking about Dove and Jordan. I couldn't place why.
