Part 13

Hadley pov

Jordan and I went upstairs together. I had to tell him, whether I wanted to or not. He deserved to know.

Jordan - "What's wrong, Hads? You know you can always talk to me about anything"

Hadley - "I know. Um...so...promise you won't hate me?"

Jordan - "I could never hate you"

Hadley - "Ok, um.... I'm pregnant"

He stared at me for a moment as if he couldn't fully process the words. His breath hitched as he stayed silent.

Hadley - (voice cracks) "Please. Say something"

Jordan - "I'm so sorry"

He whispered it, so silently that I barely heard it.

Hadley - "Please don't hate me"

His face softened immediately and he pulled me into a hug.

Jordan - "No, I could never hate you, Sunshine. I'm just a bit shocked, that's all"

Hadley - "Promise?"

He smiled softly and nodded at me.

Jordan - "Do you know what you want to do?"

Hadley - "I wanted to talk to you about it first, but I think I want to keep it"

Jordan - "I'll support you in whatever you choose to do"

Hadley - "I don't want to get an abortion, because I don't wanna take away this baby's chance to live. What do you want to do, though?"

Jordan - "I'm definitely nervous about it, but I think I wanna keep it too. Does your mom know that I'm the father?"

Hadley - (nods) "Yeah, she does. Your mom knows about the pregnancy, but she doesn't know yet that you're the father"

Jordan - "Ok then. We already have their support. I'm sure Aaron and my dad will support us too"

Hadley - "So then... we're keeping it?"

Jordan - (nods) "Yes, if that's what you want"

Hadley - "Yeah, it is"

Jordan - "When do you wanna tell everyone?"

Hadley - "We can tell them at dinner, probably"

Jordan - "Okay, that sounds good. I also have some other news to share"

Hadley - "Good or bad?"

Jordan - "Really good"

Hadley - "What is it?"

Jordan - "Nice try. You'll find out later, along with everyone less"

We both smiled. I helped him and Phoebe with their homework and they helped me practice my lines, before Phoebe went to the washroom. After she left the room, Jordan looked back to me.

Jordan - "You okay, Sunshine?"

Hadley - "I will be, because you're here with me"

Jordan - "I'll always be here for you. No matter what. Okay?"

Hadley - "I know. And I love you for that"

Jordan - "I love you too"

Eventually, everyone got home and we all sat down at the table for dinner.

Aaron - "How are you feeling, Hadley?"

Hadley "I'm better now"

Aaron - "That's good"
