"..I honestly don't think that my music belongs to me." He stated while we were awaiting for our food.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, I don't know where do I get the tunes from. They just appear in my head, and then I play my instrument. It travels between people, just like.." He snapped his fingers, trying to find the right word.
"Like a story?" I guessed, and he gave a quick nod.
"Yeah, just like a story!"
"You're good at explaining." Alex chuckled a bit, tilting his head towards the window.
"It's nice to know you think so, Frisk." The boy continued to eye the street, trying to think of a topic that would continue our conversation.
"Say, your mother and father.." I sighed and smiled sadly when he spoke.
Generally, Lady Toriel and Asgore were a nice pair. They lived their happy life, had children even..
..But then they lost two, in a span of one day.
Asgore swore to break the barrier, but for that he needed to murder seven people. Toriel was disgusted when she heard about his plan, and said that she wouldn't support it, even if it's the only way to get the monsters out of the underground. She left the residence and headed towards the Ruins..
..I know that somewhere deep inside her heart she still wants to forgive him, and even give him a second chance!
Or, at least, It's just me thinking she does.
"..They are divorced, aren't they?" He asked.
"Officially?" I ran my fingers through my hair, thinking. "I don't think they are."
"But they rarely speak?"
"I hope that'll change one day." He smiled at my answer.
"And that day you could become a Princess!" Alex guessed, snickering. "Well, technically at least."
I didn't like the title of a princess. It belonged to her and not me! I am just an ambassador, though I can't say that title is that good either.
"Asgore abdicated, don't you remember?" I tried to quickly change the topic. "And mom.. Well, even at the time she ruled the monsters with him, she never considered them her servants. The People liked them, they liked the people, and that's how it is." I said.
"I see.."
"Your food!" The officiant came, placing our dishes.
It's surprising that Grillby even hired one. He liked working alone..
[Y/n]'s POV
After what I've witnessed, I just had to find out what was that.
Asking Chara was pointless, she likely had no idea about the whole thing. Frisk? I wouldn't bother her with this either.
Though there is one person that could actually help me, and for that I needed MK's help.
I called him and arranged the place for us to meet, saying I will tell the story if he actually comes.
