Here we are, at the same door and with the same people around.
Took a while to get over with the fact that for the closest 2 months I'll have to carry my butt here, and then back home. I guess I got out of the habit of the fact that studying was an integral part of my life before I decided to leave the city for a while. As I knew, a couple of my friends left the city forever during my absence.. And I didn’t have many friends anyway. Acquaintances? Yes, hell ton of them. But only a few were my actual friends. They'll probably never remember me again.. Well, I can't do anything about it.
It's not like I hate our school, but I don't really like it either.
"[Y/n]!" Somebody from the back screamed, and I turned around to see Tom and Linda coming towards me.
"Hello there." I waved lightly.
"Where have you been all this time?"
"We haven't seen you once!"
"Oh, well.." They were waiting for me to answer. "You know, I went to take a break and hiked. Can't say It was bad."
"Hoho! I told you!" She nudged Tom lightly and he groaned.
"Yes, I lost the bet."
"What bet?" I asked curiously.
"We uhm.." Linda started weakly, but Tom stood in.
"We have made a bet that you either locked inside your house or simply went somewhere out of town for the break."
"You insulted me with that!" I said jokingly, placing my hand over my chest. Linda snickered at that and Tom simply smiled, nodding.
"So, back to school?" I motioned towards the entrance, now going up the stairs.
"It's 10 minutes 'til the beginning of our first lesson, empty head!" He yelled behind me, as I turned around and blinked a few times.
I took my phone and realized I came before the time intended.
Oh damn it.
When I came back towards the gang, they told stories about how they wasted their time away from school.
"What about you, [Y/n]?" She asked me, being intrigued.
"Me?" I scratched the back of my head. "Told you, I went hiking."
"Yeah, but maybe you met some interesting people? Or maybe an interesting person?.." I frowned and rubbed my eyes, hearing her giggle.
"No.."
"I can tell when you're lying!"
"I am not though." I shrugged, looking away and seeing the other people meet up.
"Mr. Bore." She responded and turned back to Tom.
Having nothing better to do, I simply spent the rest of my time looking into the phone.
"Boop." Somebody poked my nose and I instantly leaned backwards, hitting my head over the wall. I then stepped forward and shook it, hearing a snicker.
It was Frisk.
"Hi!" She as usual was filled with the same positive mood, which affected everyone around her.
I smiled.
"Hi, sleepy."
"You are seemingly doing better after two weeks of doing nothing." The look on her face meant that she tried to make a joke.
I chuckled.
"And you are apparently looking better and healthier even after all that Ambassador work."
