As I speed walk down the stairs to the dinning room the smell of bagels and cream cheese fills my nose. my favorite "thank you, so how was the game?" I ask my mom "it was good, though your dad got pissed at this old lady that couldn't figure out what to order lol" "haha.."
I wish everything was back to normal..
"how's school? I'm going to check your grades"
fuck she's going to see that C I got on the test..
"ugh.. you need to get your grade back up. You're at a A- in science" she says in a disappointed tone. "yes, I know" Smack! "don't give attitude" "sorry ma'am"
"hurry up your bus is coming in 10 minutes" Quickly finishing up my breakfast and heading upstairs to grab my bag and making sure I have everything. Slipping on my shoes I walk to my bus stop, Phew
As I see the bus driving up the hill I race to the stop to get there on time. Shit, just in time stepping on the bus I sit in my usual seat. Empty ...god I wish someone would at least sit next to me.."Hey there! I'm Scott, Mind if I sit here?" 'Scott' said with a lisp. shit what do I say ?! Nodding rapidly trying not to seem rude. shit now he probably thinks I'm weird.
"Sorry"
'Scott turns his head. " what for?" his lisp is really sticking out like a sore thumb.
"I'm not good with talking to new people, I'm apologizing for if I seem eagar or weird."
'Scott' giggles " It's fine! anyways I didn't catch your name?"
