~~In Veautiful Days~~
Kim Taehyung's POV
While immersed in my work, a knock at the door of my office interrupted the silence. "Come in," I called out casually.
A young man entered, his voice earnest but clearly attempting to sound more mature. "Sir, I've brought the file concerning the upcoming party," Yeonjun reported, presenting the document with a formal air.
I acknowledged him with a nod. He added, "Mr. Kim, I've included the guest list in this report and have also extended invitations to your brother, father, and cousin. If there are any additional guests you'd like to invite, just let me know," he offered with a cheeky grin.
"Thank you, Yeonjun. I'll let you know if I think of anyone else," I responded, appreciating his initiative.
Yeonjun then suggested, "Sir, since it's a special occasion, perhaps we could choose a unique theme for the event?"
"That sounds like a brilliant idea, Yeonjun," I encouraged, keen on his proactive approach.
"Perhaps a dark theme would tie in well with our new project," he proposed thoughtfully.
"Let's do that. And Yeonjun, excellent work on the new project—you're really putting in the effort," I complimented him with a broad, boxy smile and a thumbs-up.
"Thank you, Mr. Kim," he replied, beaming with pride before exiting my office as I returned to my tasks.
Shortly after, my phone rang. Without checking the caller ID, I answered, "Hello, this is Kim Taehyung from Veautiful Days."
"Hello, hyung! It's Jungkook," came the enthusiastic reply.
"Ah, Jungkook! My apologies, I didn't check the caller ID," I admitted.
"That's okay, hyung . Are you free to hang out this weekend?" he asked hopefully.
"I've actually arranged a party at my office," I informed him.
"Oh, that's okay. We can meet another time," he said, though I could almost see his disappointed pout through the phone.
"Why don't you come to the party?" I suggested, hoping to lift his spirits.
"That sounds great!" Jungkook's voice perked up instantly.
"Perfect, see you there," I concluded, smiling to myself at the thought of enjoying the weekend together.
After wrapping up my work, I headed home. As I relaxed in the living room watching a sports channel, a sudden touch on my shoulder startled me. Turning, I found myself looking into loving, dragon-like eyes.
"I missed you, hyung," I exclaimed, throwing myself into his arms.
"I missed you too, TaeTae," Namjoon hyung replied, his voice a deep rumble as he tightened his embrace, securing me within his solid frame.
"How was work today, Tae?" he inquired, but I was too content in his hug to respond.
"Can I perform at your party?" he asked excitedly.
