Y/N POV:
As I stood in front of the photos, tracing the intertwined stories of Namjoon oppa and Taehyung, the image of the girl stirred something within me. In the midst of my contemplation, Namjoon oppa's voice sliced through the heavy air, revealing a piece of their shared history. "She is our youngest sister."
Confusion and surprise mingled on my face as I processed the revelation. "But I've seen her in this household," I blurted out, my words laden with uncertainty.
Namjoon oppa's expression shifted to confusion, and he responded with a solemn tone, "That's not possible. She passed away years ago."
Disbelief surged within me as I rejected his words. "I've seen her, Namjoon. Multiple times. In the garden, playing on the swing," I insisted, my voice carrying a desperate plea for acknowledgment.
"Don't do this. We've already hurt each other enough. You don't have to hurt me even more. In this moment, you should have been their for your brother right now but here you are trying to manipulate me." I said in a frustrating tone just to hide how much I got hurt because of them.
Namjoon oppa on the other hand hit the ground with a thud sound. I have never seen him breakdown this much. " I'm not lying, Y/N. Why should I lie to you? I never lied to you Y/N not in my lifetime. I just concealed the truth but I never lied. She truly loved that swing in the garden." He confessed with so many emotions hung in his voice.
In those fleeting moments, I made a choice. I didn't want explanations or justifications. The revelation had already shattered the facade, and I couldn't bear to witness the pain etched on Namjoon oppa's face. "How can you lie to me like this?" I whispered, the words heavy with the weight of a broken trust. I turned away, shielding myself from the emotional turmoil that threatened to engulf me.
In the aftermath of my revelation, Namjoon oppa remained on the ground, his world shaken by the revelation. When I attempted to reach out, calling his name, he responded with a faint whisper, "She loves that swing in the garden."
The words hung in the air, a poignant reminder of a sister's presence that defied the boundaries of time and mortality. In that somber moment, the room became a witness to the complexities of a shared history, where the past intertwined with the present, leaving us all grappling with the profound truths that refused to be confined to the frames on the wall.
Namjoon POV:
In the aftermath, Y/N's whisper of disbelief lingered, and I remained on the ground, grappling with the profound impact of the revelation. When she tried to reach out, calling my name, I could only respond with a faint whisper, "my sister loved that swing in the garden."
As Y/N turned away, shielding herself from the emotional turmoil, I felt the heaviness of her silent pain. The room seemed to tighten with unspoken words, and I knew it was time to reveal the untold story. However, before I could begin, Y/N burst out in tears, her words echoing in the room like a desperate plea.
"I've had enough of all your bullshit! I don't want to hear any more of your stories! I really trusted you guys. I-i considered that we are a family and we shouldn't keep secrets between us but you all just broke the trust into pieces" she exclaimed, tears streaming down her face. She leaned against the wall, opposite to where I sat, the distance between us echoing the emotional chasm that had grown over the period.
I sighed, feeling the weight of her frustration, unsure of how to comfort her or navigate the delicate situation. Her pain was palpable, and my desire to shield her from it clashed with the responsibility to unveil the truths that had long been concealed.
