"I wanna party and live my life." ~ will.i.am
It had been about a few days since Kiri's incident and she still wasn't feeling 100% better yet. She spent most of her time inside the pod alone. The only times she ever spent time with any of her siblings was at night when they were all sleeping.
Today was another day spent alone and all though the sound of the horn coming from outside peaked her interest, she still wasn't ready to face reality. She could hear Tsireya shouting something in excitement but she wasn't really paying attention as she heard the sounds of other Na'vi diving into the ocean.
It wasn't until Tuk came running into the pod that Kiri actually looked away from her task. "Kiri! Kiri come on!" She shouted, grabbing her sister by the hand, tugging her to her feet.
"Tuk, leave me alone." Kiri protested, but she could tell her sister wasn't about to give up as she kept tugging her.
"What?" She rolled her eyes, standing to her feet as she Tuk dragged her out of the tent.
"Look." A smile appeared on Kiri's face at the sight in front of her. The Tulkun had returned and the Na'vi were riding around on their Ilu's as their spirit brothers and sisters were diving through the ocean. Tuk and Kiri quickly jumped into the ocean to join the excitement, calling her Ilu as they rode together.
Meanwhile, Neteyam and Erica were sharing an Ilu, smiling and laughing at the sheer sight of everything. The buzz and excitement all around them was more than enough to bring anyone to tears.
Erica felt the feeling of happy tears pricking her eyes as she looked at the Tulkun surrounded them. Neteyam's laugh was full of pure joy and that was another sound that was enough to have the tears that were forming in Erica's eyes to fall.
"Neteyam! Erica!" The two Sully's looked towards Aonung who was riding in front of them, a wide smile on his face that Erica didn't think was possible for Aonung.
"Come meet my Spirit Brother!" Aonung gestured with his hand for Erica and Neteyam to follow him as he dove below the surface of the water. The two of them followed him quickly as they passed by Kiri, Tuk, and Rotxo holding onto a fin of a Tulkun.
While still holding onto Neteyam, Erica waved at her sisters with the her free hand, happy to see that Kiri had finally gotten out of the pod. Eventually, Aonung stopped in front of a Tulkun, getting off of his Ilu as he signed I see you to the Tulkun.
Neteyam and Erica watched from a distance, listening to the happy wails coming from the Tulkun as him and Aonung caught up with each other. That's when they noticed Aonung sign I would like you to meet my new friends.
Aonung gestured for the two of them to make their way towards the Tulkun, both of them signing I see you to the Tulkun. Aonung introduced the Tulkun as Vaalkar to the Sully's to which he responded that it was nice to meet them.
Aonung doesn't bring friends to me very often, you must be special. Vaalkar wailed to them, a hint of sarcasm in his voice. Erica smiled as Neteyam signed, Is that so? while looking at Aonung who just rolled his eyes.
Yeah keep rolling your eyes, you might find a brain back there. Neteyam had to resurface for air at Vaalkar sarcastic remark as he begun to choke on water from laughing. Erica smiled, covering her mouth with her hand as she tried to avoid water seeping into her mouth.
Very funny. Aonung signed, an unamused look on his face.
Erica tapped him on the shoulder as she signed to Aonung that she'd leave him and Vaalkar alone and that she wanted to make sure Neteyam hadn't died laughing. She said her goodbyes to the Tulkun as she begun to swim towards the surface.
