"I've come home." ~ Radical Face
It's been about a month since Quaritch had started his warrior training after visiting the Spirit Tree with Ronal and the Sully's. He'd learned a bit of the Na'vi language to the point where he could hold a conversation but sometimes he'd still get lost.
He'd also tamed his own Skimwing after failing many, many times. The Metkayina were slowly starting to accept him as one of their own, although they still aired on the side of caution around him. The Sully's helped out a bit too.
Tuk was teaching him the Na'vi language.
Lo'ak was teaching him how to use a bow along with Spider.
Kiri taught him about their Great Mother Eywa and all about Tsaheylu.
Erica would just supervise and make sure that none of her siblings got into any trouble.
Jake was helping him out a bit too. He helped him learn how to ride a Skimwing along side Tonowari. Meanwhile, the Metkayina children taught him their breathing techniques along with the Sully's.
Despite how much improvement he made and how much he'd proven himself, Neytiri refused to interact with him. Although their family still wasn't the happiest with him, they'd accepted the fact that they needed him to succeed.
After they got rid of the Sky People, they would end his life.
He killed their son and no matter what he did, nothing could ever make up for that type of hurt he caused their family.
Yet, Jake found himself not wanting to invite Quaritch into their home, but allowing him to live his life on Pandora. Let him be free and enjoy the world, let him do some good.
Tuk's words got to him. She was right, he was responsible for Eytukan's death. But the Omatikaya took him back in. He was forgiven for his actions. Quaritch has done a lot of terrible things. He's killed several people, destroyed several homes.
Jake wasn't saying he'd forgive the man, not after what that man took away from him. But he could accept the fact that Quaritch was trying and that he deserved a second chance.
But Neytiri, she did everything in her power to stay away from him. If the Warriors were having a meeting about their plan and he was there? Neytiri would ask Jake for the details. If Tuk asked for help teaching Quaritch the language? She would send Erica or her husband instead.
In her eyes, he would always be the monster that took away her home and her son. It took her a long time to accept Spider, she didn't have it in her to accept him as well.
Despite all of the tension that was circulating, they'd finally come up with their plan. Gather as many clans as they could, as many tribes as they could, use Quaritch and his connections to the RDA to plant explosives and blow it up from the inside.
Take out as many machines as they could before they could launch them into battle. They would need as many tribes as they could get, as many clans as they could and launch an attack. Perfect coordination between ground and air assets.
Simultaneously, the Metkayina would get rid of any ships in the area. Making sure that no more of their Spirit brother's and sisters were harmed due to the Sky People.
"Where should we start?" Tonowari asked, wondering which clan to start with.
Jake turned to his children who were also in the strategy room with him. Jake figured that perhaps his children could be valuable assets and add in their own input. Besides, Kiri and Lo'ak were close to finishing their Iknimaya which would make them warriors. They would want to fight and Jake learned the hard way that there was nothing he could do to stop them.
