His Desirable Promise

CHAPTER 4

KIANNA'S POV

"Hi ma'am. Good morning. I just want to remind na mayroon po kayong meeting at exactly 10 am with the designer ma'am." My assistant said.

I'm here in my office at kakahatid lang sa akin ni Hildius. It's 9 am. It's about an hour before the meeting.

I finished checking the papers. No one is allowed in my office once I am starting doing my stuffs. I don't want someone to disturb me.

"Ma'am. I'm sorry for disturbing you but someone is asking for you. I already pass the line on you ma'am."

I rolled my eyes at tamad na sinagot ang tawag.

"Hello?" Walang gana kong sagot.

"Hi, Good Morning. Is this Ms. Nebraska?" Tanong ng nasa kabilang linya.

"Yes, what can I do for you?"

"The Tsu family is kindly asking you for a lunch at 12nn." I guess it's their secretary I'm talking.

Ano ang kailangan nila sa akin?

"Okay. I'll be there at 12. Just send the location to my assistant." I politely answered.

"Okay ma'am. Noted. Thank you." He said and cut the phone call.

A couple of minutes my assistant came.

"Yes, Tonette?"

"Ma'am, your lunch meeting is at Coursera Restaurant at 12nn." She said. I nod and said thank you to her.

I am checking my new designs. Parang kailan lang, pinapangarap kong magkaroon ng sariling clothing line. Tapos ngayon ay natupad ko na lahat ng pangarap ko.

"Mommy look. Is it pretty?" I showed to mom the gown that I draw.

"Wow, it's so beautiful baby. You want this?" Mom ask.

"No mommy. I want to make this when I grew up mom. I want a clothing shop, mommy." Masaya kong sabi sa kaniya.

We are here at master's bedroom where they were sleeping. We are still waiting for daddy to arrived it's already past 8 pm and daddy said earlier, he will be late from work.

"Sure baby. Kaya dapat pag-igihan mo ang pag-aaral mo. So, when you grew up you can build your own clothing shop. Okay?" Nagagalak na sabi ni mommy sa akin. Tanging malaking ngiti at tango ang ibinigay ko sa kaniya habang tinitignan ang ginawa kong sketch ng gown.

I came back to my senses when someone knocked on my office door. He clear his throat before he speak.

"Hi. Uhm.. are you busy? Tulala ka kasi eh." Nahihiyang tanong nito.

"Uhmm... Actually yes. But, come in. Take a seat first." Sabay tayo ko at paglahad ng mahabang sofa sa kaniya.

"Ano pala ang ginagawa mo dito? I thought we had some lunch at 12nn? It's still 10:50 am."

"Lunch? I-i did not set any lunch meeting. Maybe my parents set this lunch...again." Walang gana nitong sabi.

"Oh..." Tumahimik din ang paligid. I felt awkward between us. We did not still knew each other.

"Aalis na lang muna ako. Maybe I disturb you from what you're doing. Sorry."

"No! It's okay. You can sit there for a while. It's okay with you to wait for me? I still have to finish papers before I go to our lunch meeting."

He smiled genuine at me. "It's okay. Not problem at all. After all, you are my fiance. So, kaya ko naman na maghintay. At least, I knew already that you're a hardworking lady." He slightly smirked. Pasimple din akong napairap sa kaniyang ginawa.
