Years had passed, and Vulcan and Alex's relationship had grown stronger each day. They had graduated from their studies and moved to a cozy cottage near the castle, where they lived together happily.

One day, as they were sitting in their garden, Alex began to act strangely. He seemed preoccupied and distant, and Vulcan couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

He tried to ask Alex what was going on, but Alex just smiled and said that he was tired. Vulcan knew something was off, but he didn't want to press the matter.

Days turned into weeks, and Vulcan watched as Alex became more and more distant. He spent long hours in his studio, and when he came out, he seemed lost in thought.

One evening, as they were sitting by the fireplace, Alex finally broke his silence.

"Vulcan, there's something I need to tell you," he said, his voice shaking. "I'm not what you think I am. I'm an angel."

Vulcan's heart skipped a beat as he tried to process what Alex was saying. "What do you mean?" he asked, feeling a sense of unease creeping over him.

"I mean that I'm not human," Alex replied. "I'm an angel, sent here to watch over you and protect you."

Vulcan sat there in shock, trying to make sense of what Alex was telling him. He couldn't believe what he was hearing, but he could see the truth in Alex's eyes.

Over the next few days, Alex told Vulcan everything. He told him about his home in the heavens, about the other angels, and about his mission to protect Vulcan.

Despite his initial shock, Vulcan knew that he loved Alex no matter what. He had always felt a special connection to him, and now it made sense why he had always felt so comforted and happy around him.

As they sat together, holding hands and watching the stars, Vulcan realized that he was grateful for Alex's presence in his life. He knew that he was lucky to have someone who loved him so deeply, and who was willing to watch over him no matter what.

Together, they sat in silence, watching as the stars twinkled in the sky. And even though Vulcan knew that there were still many mysteries about Alex that he didn't understand, he felt content in the knowledge that he was loved unconditionally.
