"SEEYA LATER GUYS!" You waved at the few staff members who stood outside as you walked out of the Civil departments office or more like the hideous intelligence group's hangout spot with the happiest smile ever.

You were finally relived of your duties at the intelligence department. Why you ask?

...because you decided to quit a while ago.

The inner architect inside you only kept calling you out to do something that was meant for you. Your current job as an intelligence officer which required you to sit in an office, reading files and playing games with businessmen wasn't something that really suited you the best.

 This urge only grew stronger after you saw the man who ruined your entire career being charged for a total of six cases.

The world would no longer just see you as 'Y/n' who worked in the civil department but they would also realize it is the same 'Y/n' who built the world's most sophisticated and wealthiest structure, The Jade Chamber.

....And after years, you finally let Ningguang reveal the true architect of the Jade Chamber as your only fear about Aaron finally came to a settlement. Not only that, the Burton household had owed you A LOT of mora for all the damages caused by Aaron under the laws of Liyue. Life was now getting to the best point.

....but there was something or someone still missing these moments with you.

As you walked through the streets of Liyue in the Chihua rock, you noticed how there was another cooking showdown happening in there. It immediately gave flashbacks to the time you and Kaveh participated in it.

That's when a frown finally hit you throughout the happy day.

You haven't seen Kaveh since yesterday after you returned back to Liyue Harbor with the criminals arrested. He kept inspecting your bruises for a while until Yanfei, Xiangling and your assistant all came over to check you as well.

At that very moment, Kaveh stood back with a smile. Little did he not know was that you noticed a bitter frown the moment he turned his back and left you with Yanfei and Xiangling. Perhaps he was hurt by words mentioned by his old classmate?

You tried inviting Kaveh to drink the previous night but he wasn't in his lodge. Eugene told you that he was out somewhere seeking for inspiration so you let him be.

You were truly missing him and his presence right now. That's how attached the two of you grew in the past months. You couldn't even imagine him leaving to Sumeru now..
