7. A Worthy Deal.

"WHY ARE YOU GUYS SITTING BESIDE ME, AS IF I'M ABOUT TO DIE?"  You ask to Yanfei, Yelan and Xiangling who were sitting on both the sides of your bed, almost making it seem like you nearly returned back to life from death.

Two out of three had an extremely worried face, almost as if they were on the verge of crying and sobbing their emotions out while one had an extremely proud face.

"For a matter, I know I'm not dead because my head hurts. Unless death was painful which is not how it's supposed to be." You say earning a chuckle from Yelan.

"Y-Y/n! wahhhhh WHY DO YOU KEEP GETTING YOURSELF INTO SOME TROUBLE!! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW WORRIED I WAS WHEN I HEARD GOONS CAME AFTER YOU!" Xiangling cried and pulled you into an embrace. 

Yanfei had a furious look on her face. "Y/n. I'm about to send that guy into jail for at least the next sixty years of his life for sending goons to harm you." She threatened.

Yelan chuckled and calmed down Xiangling and Yanfei. "Now, now both of you calm down. Y/n appears to be clueless about what's going on in here."

"Exactly, please enlighten me three of you." You say as you crossed your hands across your chest.

Yelan smiled proudly. "Who knew two architects when drunk to a point they're not mentally or physically stable could be so chaotic. Almost as if you two showed the same energy. It was quite a scene to see."

"Wh— WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" You panicked. 

Yanfei and Xiangling sighed. "No idea about what happened still? A bunch of goons were sent to bring you back to Aaron but that Sumeru Architect and you broke the main guy's fingers yesterday. Before anything could happen Yelan and the millelith entered." Yanfei said.

You sat there speechless. Again you have committed something stupid and why did your accomplice in crime have to be HIM?

"I—...Now what...do I go to prison with that guy for the rest of my life for violence...?" You ask slightly shivering. 

"Yanfei logged the case as an act of self-defense. Don't worry both of you are safe. Although, I suggest you proceed with the case you filed against Aaron quicker." Yelan suggested.

You were annoyed hearing his name. He was the very reason, you seemed to be so pathetic.

From the bad drinking habit you had developed to how manipulated you were, how blinded by love you were and how he shattered your dreams. 

In the last, it was just you ultimately suffering while he lived a life of joy. 

All you felt was hate when you somehow walked into that mess that night. Almost as if fate wanted you to see that moment.

 How he spoke ill about you to other women and said how he'd discard you after using your designs to earn money. That night was when you decided to never pick up your favorite job again after you were done with the Jade Chamber.
