sorry i haven't updated in a few days! but here's a quick rick imagine, enjoy! 💗

it was a normal day of scavenging, we had split up into groups of 2 and were looking for water and supplies. You had went with Rick, you hadn't talked as much as you'd hoped you would. so you decided to break the silence.

"rick?" you questioned not knowing where he was
"yeah?" he called from behind you
"we're gonna find stuff, I know it."
"yeah, we will" he said brushing you off and walking past
"seriously?"
"what?" He stopped and turned around
"what? your asking me what?"
"yeah I believe so" he said smarting you off
"Rick your being an asshole."
"and your being annoying but I'm not complaining am I?" he scoffed and walked away
"rick" you ran after him grabbing his shoulder
"what now y/n" he said coldly pulling away from you
"what's wrong with you?"
"nothing."
"that's a lie"
"im not lying, you don't even know me"
"I know a lot about you Rick, I've been with you and the others for almost a year now."

Rick sighed, you knew something was bothering him but you just couldn't figure it out.

"you can talk to me you know?" you said reassuringly
"yeah i know" he let a slight smile creep into the corner of his mouth
"good, now what's up?"
"I-i can't lose you y/n" he stuttered
"lose me?" you laughed
"yes."
"why would you lose me? im not going anywhere"
"I lose everyone. and you can't be one of the people i lose"
"rick you don't lose everyone" you said going in for a hug that he blocked
"that's not true. sooner or later everyone in this group will be gone. Glenn, Maggie, Daryl, carol, c-carl, j-jud-" you cut him off
"stop, Stop it right now. your not gonna lose any of us especially me, or carl or judith. understand?" you said smiling at him
"but what if-" you cut him off again
"no what if's"
"thank you y/n." Rick said hugging you and you pulled away
"no, thank you rick." you said as he looked confused as to why you pulled away from the hug.

you reached up and kissed him on the lips, soft and quick.
"i-" he started
"shh, don't say anything" you giggled
" no, I have to say this. i love you y/n." Rick said kissing you quickly
"I love you too Rick." You said smiling

IK THIS WAS SUPER SHORT.
but I didn't forget about the book, I've just been kinda busy with track! im trying to update when I can, again so sorry this one was short. I'll work on another one soon! Have a good night/day -lex:)
