"your so close to her glenn!" you yelled
"she's my friend babe" he said calmly
"bullshit! she's liked you ever since the farm!" you yelled again.
you knew maggie liked glenn, but he refused to admit to knowing it too. he still did everything with her, and now they were going on a 3 day run together.
"three days? does it really have to be that long?" you asked
"that's what rick wants" he said
"then why can't someone else go!" you protested
"i don't know babe" glenn said trying to calm you down.
"you just want time alone with her!" you yelled at him
"babe stop-" you cut him off
"no! you don't get to tell me to stop! if i went on a three day run with rick you'd lose your shit too!" you yelled
"babe! it's a fucking apocalypse, not a middle school relationship!" he yelled back
"i have to go places with other girls, to keep the group together! i don't like her and I couldn't give a shit if she likes me! I'm with you!" he said angrily
"why can't i just go!" you yelled back
"you know you can't do long runs! remember what happened last time!" he yelled at you.
your face fell at the mention of the last long run you went on. last time. you went on a run with rick and glenn. you were looking for water while they went a little further into an old store you'd discovered and a walker had snuck up behind you. it was the scariest moment of your life. it'd almost bit you but luckily glenn got to you in time.
"babe-" glenn whispered as he went to reach for you
"no!" you yelled at him pushing you away
"i didn't mean it like that" he sighed
"well you said it! so just go! go have fun with her because she can actually take care of herself!" you said tears forming in your eyes.
glenn walked over to you and pulled you into a hug.
"babe no" he said stroking your hair
"you can take care of yourself, what happened to you could've happened to anyone" he said kissing your forehead
you pulled away and looked up at him, wiping a tear away.
"im so sorry" you whispered
"for what?" he asked
"freaking out about maggie" you said
"it's okay, im not mad at you" he said giving you another hug
"I trust you" you said hugging him back
"and i trust you too" he said pulling away from the hug looking down at you
"be safe okay?" you smiled at him
"always" he smiled as he planted a small kiss on your lips
"i love you" you said kissing him back
"don't start to many arguments while im gone okay?" glenn laughed and you couldn't help but smile.
"i can't make promises" you told him smiling
"I'll take that then" he said giving you another kiss, short but passionate.
"be back soon!" you said as he turned to leave
"see you in 3 days babe, i love you" he said blowing you a kiss which you fake caught and watched him leave.
