8. glenn/rick pt2

you heard bits and pieces of what they said about their beautiful home, and the more you thought about it the more it sounded like alexandria.
"as i was saying we have food and water, and stuff for your baby" what seems like to be the leader said
"ain't this place ain't no place for a baby out here" the other man said
"have you seen a woman out here? she was about your size same hair and same eyes, her name is y/n." the leader asked and your mind went blank. it was rick grimes and daryl dixon. they were here looking for you? or what were they really out here for? so close to negans place.
"well have ya?" the other man said
"i- seriously do i look that different?" you said
"y/n?" rick said coming closer and hugging you slightly since you still had the baby in your arms
"oh don't worry i didn't miss you." you said rolling your eyes, as the last conversation you had with Rick replayed through your mind of him telling you that you could never come back.
"the baby? who's is it?" daryl asked
"m-mine." you stuttered
"what?" rick said
"you didn't look pregnant last time we saw ya" daryl said
"i hid it well. sorry to break this little reunion up though, but i have things to attend too"
"you mean kill negan?" Rick said
"Rick don't start with this now, let her be" daryl said
"im just saying, Alexandria has already attacked him and his people. just come back" rick muttered
"oh you want me back?" I don't think that's what you said last time you saw me."
"i was scared, I didn't want to lose anyone else." rick said
"he killed my boyfriend, the father of my baby right in front of my eyes. and you didn't want me to kill him, and you wanted to be his little bitch instead." you said turning away
"y/n im sorry. I really am, please come back. we need you."
"bullshit." you said as you walked away

a few hours had passed and you gave a few thoughts about returning to Alexandria but you said you'd never go back. and that's what you planned on doing, never going back. you had no one there, they didn't need you rick was full of shit and always has been. the baby started crying so you sat down near a tree and bounced him up and down on your lap. you could see glenn's face when you looked at him and that only made you want to protect him 10x more.

as you thought about the outside world, with no walls and no promised food or shelter you thought about glenn and how he'd want you and the baby safe. you still remembered how to get to Alexandria so you packed everything you owned up, which fit into one bag. and took off. it took about 2 hours to get there on foot and soon enough you were standing at the gate, you knocked for entrance and rosita opened the gates.

"y/n?" she asked running to you and hugging you noticing something in your arms "a baby?"
"it's glenns" you smiled walking through the gate. it felt weird being back here but here you were, back home.
"is there anything you need?" she asked walking with you
"is rick here?"
"yea he's in his home with carl and judith" she said she got called away by daryl who smiled at you.

you were at the steps of rick's house when carl came out of the door carrying judith.
"y/n!" he yelled and ran down the steps to hug you
"hey buddy" you smiled hugging him back then you saw rick at the entrance to his house.
"carl go take your sister to carol" rick said eyeing you
"im going dad, but look y/ns back!" he shouted walking away with judith
"you came back huh?" he smirked and invited you in.
"let me see the baby" he said reaching for him and he took him to a corner in the living room and sat him down in judith's day crib.
"thanks for letting me come back" you said
"of course, after all your family." he smiled
"I don't know how long I'm going to stay"
"what? you just got here and you haven't even seen everyone" he protested
"I know, im just not sure if this is the place for me" you said
"Well it may not be the place for you, but it's the place for the baby. And I know I said if you walked out of the gate don't come back but this time, im not giving you the chance to walk out of the gate. your stuck here now." Rick said

god he was so demanding. and you hated it but secretly you loved it. and you knew that you had made the right choice, your baby would grow up with family and it would always be protected. you knew glenn would be proud of you and you were going to make sure that your son knew who his dad was and everything about him, with a little help from rick along the way.

I feel like this is bad????? idk it just doesn't seem right but I had no other idea on how to end it😭😭. hope you liked it!! have an amazing day/night- lex!
