What I wouldn't do to sing!!!

Chapter Eleven: School Day

Yup!! That's right, I went back to school as soon as I got back from the show. And here is how the school day went.

Charlie: Wow!!! I didn't know that you could sing and dance like that.

Butch: Yeah!!!

Me: Well, I was way too shy before now and you never asked me.

Charlie: Fair enough.

Me: Yeah. I got to go to class. See you at lunch??

Charlie: Yeah.

.........

Music Teacher: Good job Carrie. I hope you used the tips I taught here in class.

Me: Don't worry Miss. Grundy. I remembered everything you taught me and took it with me on that stage.

Miss. Grundy: Awe. That makes me proud that ONE of my students PAYS ATTENTION to my lessons.

The rest of my classes before lunch were like this and I'm happy that they watched it but now I'm getting special treatment like no notes or no work. It's optional for me now. I just got an A+ for just saying here and another A+ for showing up and asking questions. I mean I am happy that I am getting no work to do but what's the point of going to school then if you don't get any work to do?

~At lunch in the cafeteria~

Charlie: Hey Carrie!!!

Me: You waited for me??

Charlie: Of course, I did. Butch is holding down our table.

Me: Why are you and Butch so nice to me??

Charlie: Because you're an awesome person to be around.

Me: Do you really mean it???

Charlie: Yes. Why wouldn't I mean it??

Me: Well, I don't know if you know this, but Amara told me that I'm clingy and that really hurt me, you know. So that's why that day that you had asked me the first time I was doing okay, and I bit your head off. It was the day she told me all of that and it was horrible. I lost a friend that day.

Butch: Wow!!! We had no idea.

Me: Yeah, and I'm pretty sure she is plotting something against me.

Charlie: We got your back.

Me: Okay.

So, from that day on, we became really close friends. It was really weird to see me with Charlie and Butch then with Amara, but it was worth making new friends. They really helped me get back out there and I wasn't so shy singing and dancing in front of people. But that wasn't all good things that happened to me.
