Chapter Thirteen: Finding out who murdered my dad!!

I can't believe that this is happening to me. I want to find whoever did this.

Julie: Sweetie, breakfast is ready.

Me: Go away mom!!!

Julie: Okay but you can't starve so come on out.

Me: Alright, alright.

So, I went out to the kitchen, and I ate my dinner, but I didn't want to say a word because if I did, I would burst into tears.

Me: It was delicious mom. Thank you.

Julie: Of course, honey.

I went back to my room and didn't come out until school but it took a turn for the worse.

~Monday Morning~

I got ready for school that morning and I don't even bother to end breakfast like I do because I didn't want it. But when I walked out the door, the reporter was already up in my face, asking about my father being murdered. I didn't want to hear all of that, so I brushed past them and headed for school. I know that I didn't have to go to school because I tested out but I still wanted to get the whole high school experience.

Me: Excuse me??

Random Boy: Sorry.

Me: Thank you.

Random Boy: Hey!! Aren't you the girl whose father got murdered??

Me: Leave me alone!!!

Random Boy: Hey, j was just simply asking a question.

Me: Well I'm giving you a simple answer.

Random Boy: Okay.

I knew from that point on that I should've stayed home. But I wanted my education so I went to school. But I wanted to go home.

I hope nobody else says anything about my father because if they do, I'm going to throw away my home manners and fight them.

~Some time later~ ~In the cafeteria ~

I hope that nobody will talk to me about my dad. I can't stand it any more.

I got my lunch and sat down to eat it but as soon as I did that, these mean girls came up. Their names are Sabrina, Brittany and Ashley.

Let me tell you a little backstory about them.

Sabrina is the head of the table and she "runs" her little mean girl group. Brittany and Ashley are best friends but Sabrina doesn't know that. Anyways Brittany and Ashley are Sabrina's hit men and will do dirty work for her. And they formed this group when they met back in head start, I guess. Anyways , they go around and beat people up and bully them but not this year. This year, I'm going to shut them down so they don't do anymore damage.

Sabrina: Hey Carrie!!! May we sit.

Me: Do I have a choice??

Sabrina: Nope!!!

Brittany: I heard what happened to your dad. What a shame?!

Ashley: I know right. What do you think it was?? Strangulation??? Beaten to death??? What was it??

Me: I don't know Ashley. Maybe become a P.I and you tell me.

Sabrina: Don't tell her what to do. Only I tell her what to do. Got it!!!

Me: You're a bully and a control freak so yeah, leaving it in me. What's your problem with me and everyone else?

Sabrina: Ugh!!!! Leave me alone!!! *As she gets up.

Me: But..

Sabrina: Don't talk to me ever!!!!!

After she left, I was relieved when she left but I wasn't for long.

Amara: Hey Carrie, long time no talk. How are you???

Me: Why do you care?? Oh wait!!! Is it because I'm more talented than you and smarter than you and you want to act like you care about me and when I let you in, you'll learn all my secrets and use them against me.

Amara: I would never!!

Me: Uhuh. Whatever helps you get to sleep at night, bye Amara.

When I walked away, I knew that made her mad, but I knew exactly what her plan was. I saw right through her, and I know that she will take me down with all she got. And I'm not going to let her.

~Some hours later~

Julie: You didn't tell me that you tested out of school??

Me: I wanted to tell you on the day, but you told me that my father was murdered so I guess I wanted to wait for the right time to tell you.

Julie: Oh honey, I'm so proud of you!!! I wish your dad was here with you.

Me: Yeah, me too. Did you find out how he was murdered??

Julie: Yeah!! Gunshot to the head and chest.

Me: Wow!! I need a minute.

Julie: Of course, honey. Take all the time you need.

Me: Anything else i should know??

Julie: No, that's all I know.

But by the look on her face, I knew that she was lying but I didn't want to confront her. I know that she's hiding but what??
