Jackson growled slightly, alerting all the wolves in the room and one very confused librarian. When Scott gave him a questioning look, Jackson nodded ever so subtly to Stiles' tattoo. Scott growled too, and the librarian tried to shush them. It was one thing for a random werewolf pack to show up on his territory, but now that Scott knew it was the Alpha Spark's pack, he was furious. Of course they'd try something. Big bad creatures always tried something in Beacon Hills. Scott should've guessed the Alpha Spark pack would want their shot to fight the Hale-McCall pack.

The Alpha Spark didn't even flinch at the other wolves' growls. It's like he or she was completely unthreatened and so sure that they would win this fight. The foreign pack kept walking and turned into the supernatural book section. As they went, Scott tried to get a scent off of them but found nothing. This wasn't that shocking, considering their leader was a spark. Sparks were notorious for knowing how to hide any trace of the supernatural, even scents. That's why so many of them were brought into supernatural packs, to hide from humans.

All the wolves of the Hale-McCall pack (and humans, banshees, and were coyotes) tensed as the Alpha Spark's pack walked right past and into the bookshelves, only one of them even acknowledging the other pack. A girl, trailing right after Stiles, eyes flashing in a vampire way with a subtle hint of pink to the irises. So a vampire-succubus mix. That's not terrifying. Just how powerful were these people? They'd heard rumors of the Alpha Spark's pack having lots of non-wolf creatures - powerful ones at that - but they didn't expect it to actually be true.

Issac moved to follow after the new pack but Scott held out his arm to stop the beta. "Wait. We don't wanna wage war on them just yet. Let's make sure we know why they're here, and how powerful they are before we try to fight them.", the true alpha said. "We could take them.", Jackson argued from the back of the group. "Jackson...", Scott growled.

"Careful there. Looks like someone needs to keep their betas in line. What was it that one said again?", a member of the new pack said, sliding through the bookshelves back towards the pack. "I said we could take you.", Jackson growled. The man laughed and suddenly an identical man appeared next to him, equally creepy. "What's so funny, Rich?", the second one asked. "This little wolf thinks his pack could take on ours. I wonder if the rest of his pack feels the same? What do you think, Mike?", the first, Rich, asked. "I think their alpha is pathetic if he can't keep 1 beta in line. We could definitely take them." "Oh? I thought they had two alphas?" "Oh that's right! I guess I forgot since Hale is so negligent. Guess you guys are even more pathetic than I thought."

"How do you know my name?", Derek spoke up. Before either twin could answer, the rest of the Alpha Spark's pack strolled through. "That's enough you two. Don't instigate them. We've only been here a day, try not to be so eager to ruffle some feathers.", a green-haired man snapped. "We're sorry about them, they're asses. As for your name, practically everyone knows you guys. Did you think no one was impressed enough to share the story of the pack that took down the ghost riders?", a ginger one said.

"People talk about us?", Scott asked. "Yep. The McCall-Hale pack is very famous.", the green man piped up again. "So are you. Rumors of the Mercury Pack have spread like wildfire recently.", Derek said, eyeing the alpha suspiciously. The other alpha, however, was looking elsewhere, face turned towards the doors, looking eager to get away from what they probably deemed to be worthless weaklings not worth their time.

"Is that what they call us? Well I guess it's better than being so egotistical that our name literally revolves around our alphas. Unlike you, our alpha is humble.", Rich sneered. "Richie if you don't leave them alone I swear I will revoke your dessert privileges for a month!", the ginger sighed. Richie just rolled his eyes.

"Looks like your alpha can't control their betas either.", Jackson huffed at Richie. Richie glared back with a scowl. Scott flashed his eyes at Jackson and the beta quickly backed down.

Derek continued to eye the other alpha throughout all of this.

"Well, we should be going. Have a nice day.", the vampire-succubus from earlier piped up, suddenly cheery as she grabbed onto her alpha's forearm and hugged into them as the Mercury Pack started walking away. Once they were out of hearing distance, the McCall-Hale pack relaxed and deflated. "Well, at least we learned something about them.", Lydia suggested. "What did we learn?", Malia asked. "That those twins are something to watch out for, the pack isn't attempting anything against us yet, their alpha either doesn't like us or doesn't care, and that the vampire-succubus is probably sleeping with the alpha.", Lydia said.

Scott sighed. "That's still not enough to tell if they're here for anything bad or not."

Meanwhile, back at their newly purchased loft, Stiles was ready to kill Richie and Mike. "Really you two?! You just had to start something. It's bad enough that we ran into them on our first days here, but almost instigating a war?", he yelled. "We couldn't help it. They were awful to you.", Richie pouted. "That was a long time ago. Besides, you can't change the past and I'm over it now.", Stiles sighed. "No you're not. If you were over it, you wouldn't mind them knowing who you are. You're still hurt by what they did, and that's okay Stiles! You're our alpha and we respect you enough not to expect perfection. At the end of the day, you're human. Well... not physically but, y'know what I mean.", Mike said.

Stiles gave him a soft smile. "Elena, stop caressing his arm, this is supposed to be a tender moment!", Ian said. "I'm soothing him!", she retorted. The pack laughed together for the first time that day.

"Well, we got what we needed, should we get started?", Merlin asked, plopping a big book onto the table. "Yeah, I suppose.", Syd sighed. "Translating magic spells? No thank you! I'm going to leave this to you guys and go out for some supplies real quick. My magical ingredients stock is getting low.", Sabrina said. "Gee, thanks.", Zuku quipped. "I'm sorry, I just hate all the translation research stuff!", the girl apologized. "How have you been a witch your whole life and still not gotten used to having to research stuff?", Ian asked. "Half-witch!", Sabrina replied as she walked out the door with a smirk. Ian rolled his eyes and the pack got started with the translating.
