After eating and talking more on their thoughts, they went back to their homes and it was already the next morning.
"Are you excited to meet the new principal?" Chan asked as Jeongin shrugged, as Chan drove with one hand, holding the other's hand with the free one.
"I mean, hopefully they're not bad. I hadn't really given it much thought. You?"
Chan shrugged too. "I mean, I kinda don't care. It's not like they'll be my principal for the following years." Jeongin stayed silent, caressing the other's hand.
"Have you talked with your parents?" Chan shook his head. "I'm sure they'll call me again."
"Will you answer this time?" Jeongin asked, already knowing the response.
"I don't want to hear their college options for me. At least not now." The younger understood that and gave him a reassuring smile, even if the other couldn't look.
Chan peeked over and saw the smile, making him raise his hand and kiss the other's hand, as Jeongin giggled.
They pulled up into the school as they walked hand in hand into the building.
They continued their conversation more and more and met up with the rest in their first hour.
More talks continued between each other until suddenly an assembly was called and for everyone to head to the auditorium.
They all sat in whatever seats, hearing mutters around them, making them all curious on what this assembly was about.
One of the teachers walked onto the stage, microphone in her hand and placed it into the stand. She introduced herself, even though everyone knew her and brought out a new lady.
"Hi everyone! I'm Anna Wang, but you all can call me Miss Anna!" She had a face that seemed familiar and looked kind, a little young too but also not a high schooler for sure.
She freely took the mic out of the stand and chuckled a bit, seeing everyone's reaction to her name. "If you're curious, yes I am related to your famous Jackson Wang."
Everyone broke out into chatter, and spoke amongst themselves but quieted back down, wanting to hear more. "I am also your brand new principal!"
The crowd were all stunned as she paced around the stage, looking at everyone. "Today's my first day and the first day of a new school year."
She talked a bit more and more over how this school year would be different and how she'd like to advocate for everyone and more and more talk that the guys honestly weren't listening to all that much ever since she said she was related to Jackson.
The assembly came to an end as they walked back to their first class and sat in their seats.
"We haven't heard from Jackson or the others and all of a sudden, his relative is our principal?" Hyunjin asked.
"That's odd." Jisung agreed to this. "Wait, did she ever say how they were related?" Jeongin questioned as they thought about it and shook their head.
"Can I have Yang Jeongin to the principal's office?" Jeongin heard his name and was stunned as others in the class only teased him.
The other guys though were curious on what she'd want him for. So was he.
He made his way to the office and knocked on the door, almost carefully.
"Come in!" He opened the door and saw the drastic changes with the new office.
It was lighter, cleaner, more organized and even prettier. It looked professional and the room was filled with a nice clean smell that complimented the whole thing altogether.
