Sanem stood at the door to his office for a second, just admiring this handsome man that she was proud to call her husband before tapping gently on his door..
" Can, I need to leave early today. Tarkan has a doctors appointment." Sanem announced as she entered his office. She perched herself on the edge of his desk, leaning over and giving him a kiss on the forehead. Can looked up quickly, " What's wrong, is he sick. He seemed fine this morning when we left home." He replied as he stood quickly ready to bolt out the door for home to see about his son.
Sanem smiled, " Hey, calm down. No he isn't sick, it just his checkup, that's all." She told him as she stroked his beard. She could see the fear in his eyes at the mention of anything being wrong with the first born child. She loved him even more for that, his total devotion and love for his son.
Can breathed a sigh of relieve, " Oh, it's just a checkup....are you sure. Don't keep anything from me." He demanded, as he pulled her closer to him, letting his hands slowly glide over her shoulders and down her arms.
Sanem giggled nervously, " Can don't be ridiculous, I wouldn't keep anything from you." His touch had already raised her desire for more, but she felt the eyes of the whole office spying on them. " Can, people are looking. Can....." Her words seem to fall on deaf ears as he covered her mouth with his, devouring her lips as if he were enjoying his favorite chocolate bar.
Sanem wanted to resist, she really thought about it, but her husband could turn her normal uneventful day into a day filled with so much desire that there was no denying it. So, she did what she always did....she melted shamelessly into his arms, welcoming each and every feeling that he had switched on inside her as if she were a light bulb...
" Must you two always be so openly visible with your affection. Come on Abi, can't you wait until you are home for this" Emre remarked jokingly as he peeked his head in the door. Sanem jerked away, and slid down from his desk, " Sorry, I was just telling Can about Tarkans doctor appointment." Sanem stammered about trying to hide her embarrassment.
Emre laughed, but he could see that he had been inappropriate with his comment, " Sanem I was joking. There is no need to be uneasy about your feelings for each other." He replied, trying to smooth over what he had said. Sanem smiled and nodded, but she could still feel the heat of embarrassment on her face, or maybe it was from the heat of his touch.....she wasn't sure, but either way she seemed to be on fire.
" So is my little guy sick, is he having a problem." Emre asked, changing the subject quickly. Can eyed his brother, giving him that warning signal to watch his words, " No Emre, he isn't sick. It's his checkup, that's all." Can spouted, returning back to his work.
Emre knew he had overstepped his boundaries with his joke, " Sorry, but the reason I stopped by was to let you know the paperwork for the construction company's campaign is complete and ready for you to sign." He told him in a more serious manner. " It's a good campaign, I think it will be good for them." He nodded, giving Sanem a smile as he turned to leave.
Sanem squinted her eyes at Can, " See I told you we were going to get caught. Now I'm going to be embarrassed every time I see him." She whispered loudly, her eyes dancing with fire. Can couldn't help but laugh, " Babe, don't worry about Emre, he has no room to judge." He said, reaching out for her hand.
Sanem pulled away, " Are you crazy. You want to give them more to talk about." She spewed, slapping playfully at his hands. " I have to go. Would you like to come with us, Nalan is meeting me at the doctors office with Tarkan." She asked.
Can sighed, " I would love to, but I have to finish this proposal for the meeting on Monday. You won't be upset, will you?" He asked as his eyes roamed over her body, seducing her visually. She knew that look all too well, and she never got tired of it. " No, I'm not upset. But just don't forget where we left off before your brother interrupted us." She replied, returning that look of seduction as she let her eyes slowly drift over his toned and muscled physique.
Can could feel his body tense and that tingle of anticipation as she looked at him, " Oh trust me my dear, I wouldn't dream of it." He answered, his heart beginning to palpitate.
Sanem smiled, " Ok then, I will just take a taxi home from the doctors. That will give me time to give Tarkan an early dinner and send Nalan home for the evening." She said giving him a wink as she turned and walked out if his office.
Can sat there for a split second watching her as she walked away, completely in awe of his beautiful wife.
"Work, work....get your mind back on your work man." He told himself as he took a deep breath of frustration. He turned back to his laptop, trying to regain his thoughts on the proposal. But he couldn't fully concentrate on what he was doing as the smell of her perfume lingered heavily in the air and his fantasies of her roamed about in his head.He pushed himself away from his desk, "Maybe I should have gone with them to see the doctor. What if something is wrong and she will be there all alone." His mind buzzing about making him think silly things.
He shook his head, dispelling all those thoughts of nonsense. He walked down to the coffee bar to pour a cup of tea, then headed back to his office. He was still in a state of enchantment from the closeness of his wife earlier and the thought of what she was offering to him for a conciliation prize for later in the night as he wandered back down the hallway.
A slap on his back brought him out of his daydream, " Man, what has you in such deep thought my friend?" A familiar voice said from behind him.
Can jerked around suddenly, almost spitting the mouth full of tea on his visitor. " I called your name three times and you didn't even hear me......so what's up." Akif asked, happy to see his old friend...
" Akif, what are you doing here. I'm glad to see you." He replied exuberantly, draping his arm around his neck. " Come in, come in. You just missed Sanem. She is taking our son for his two-year checkup with the doctor." Can announced with pride.
" No, I didn't miss her. I ran into her outside." He explained. " I don't know what your secret is, but she is looks even more beautiful and happy than the last time I saw her. And you, you look great. Married life seems to agree with you." Akif stated.
Can smiled, " You're right, it does. I can't believe how content my life is now." He answered, the statement almost making him blush. But nothing was more true than that.
Akif shook his head, " I would have never believed this would have been you. Back then when we all wanted nothing more than to have fun. And you, you had your pick of the girls and Metin and I could only be happy with the leftovers." He laughed as he remembered those days of their youth.
Can smiled, " I think you exaggerate my friend. But anyway, what brings you back here." He asked, not comfortable reliving all the thoughts of their past.
Akif straightened in his chair, " Well I came for Metins wedding. Did you not know about it." He said.
Can had heard that Metin was seeing someone, but that was a some time ago, and he had no idea that it was that serious......
" No, I didn't...I didn't know about his wedding.....but I am very happy for him"....Can replied with mixed emotions....
