Can took Sanem in his arms, " Sweetheart, don't be upset, he will let us know what flight he's on. But you have to come to terms with the fact he is a grown man now.  We won't always be the most important people in his life."

She cringed at his words, but she knew he was right, " I know, but I'm not ready to lose him. And besides, he will always be my baby....they both will." She stammered, holding back the tear.

Tarkan tapped on the front door, his mind still processing what his heart had just realized. The minute she opened the door and his eyes focused on her, he knew...... Yes, I'm in love with her...

She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck, " I'm so glad you're here. I miss you more and more each moment we are not together." She muttered, lavishing him with kisses.

" Come in, don't just stand there. We have a few minutes before we have to go. Oh, you did pick up the tickets for the concert, right? She asked pulling him down on the sofa next to her. He nodded to her, "Yes, I got them. But there is something I need to talk to you about first."

" Alara, I know we planned next weekend to get away together, and we will still do that, but just not next weekend. I had totally forgot that it is my dads birthday next weekend, and my mom expects me home for our family dinner." He explained, watching her face closely.

Alara let out a sigh, " Really?" You have to go?" She asked, the disappointment clearly showing on her face. " But we had planned this trip for our anniversary." She huffed, slumping back against the sofa.

Tarkan pulled her over next to him, " I know, and we will go, but just the next weekend. I hope you understand,...we have always celebrated both of my parents birthdays as a family. I guess you might say it is a tradition."

He hated to disappoint her more than anything in the world. " I can barely stand the thought of leaving you for a couple of days, so please don't make this any harder on me than it already is." He whispered in her ear as he nibbled teasingly on her neck.

" Well if you have to go, you have to go." She huffed, avoiding his advances. Tarkan turned her face toward his, " Alara, I would never do anything to hurt you, and we will go." He pressed his lips against hers, gently at first, but then he felt that burning desire heat up deep down in his body.

The kiss lasted longer and grew deeper, as the need to touch and explore every part of each other overtook them. Tarkan had been taught by his dad to respect every woman, to abide by the morale rights and expectations of their beliefs. So in others words, confirmation of your love for one another comes after union.....

But this felt right.... This was a feeling he had never had before..... So why did they need to wait to confirm their love for each other.  These questions swirled around in his head like a storm as his desire reached a new height.

Alara pulled away, gasping for a breath, " Tarkan, wait.... I'm not sure if we should. You know, if we should do this, not that I don't want to, but...... Are you sure." She stammered, her eyes full of questions, along with that intense craving of giving herself to the man she loved.

Tarkan stroked her face with his hand, " I am sure, I'm sure that what I feel for you is strong and pure..... and I respect you and your word. If you want to wait, I understand, because I am in love with you Alara.... I love you." He muttered, as tears formed in his eyes.

She smiled shyly, and looked away, " Maybe we should wait Tarkan. I just want everything to be perfect, you know. I love you too, I want you to know that."

He kissed her again, softly. " Then we will wait. My love is forever Alara, so we have the rest of our lives to be together." He whispered. She back away, looking at his face, " The rest of our lives? What are you saying Tarkan Divit. So you want to spend the rest of your life with me?" She replied, a huge smile spreading across her face.

" Yes that's what I'm saying. I don't want to be apart from you, not ever." He spoke, as he ran his finger along her cheek. " Alara, you are the most important person in my life. I can barely force myself to leave you every night and go home."

She smiled slightly as she listened to his confession. His words, his actions, had filled her with happiness. She never thought she could feel like this, to be so happy and scared at the same time.

" Tarkan, I feel the same way. You are my whole life. So what do we do next?" She said, gazing into his eyes, her heart beating out of control. She couldn't imagine living without him, she knew he was the one that was meant for her.

Tarkan leaned back and looked up to the ceiling, as if he was concocting a master plan, "Hmmm....let me see, what are we going to do now? He said teasingly.  " I think...uhh, I think I'm going to kiss you now. We have just promised ourselves to each other....so I think we seal it with a kiss." He told her, moving in close to her.

His lips touched hers ever so slightly at first, but with so much passion it felt like a bolt of lightning. She responded, pressing her lips firmly and demanding against his. They had kissed many, many times before, but this kiss was different .....

Tarkan could feel the kiss get deeper and more intense, and the taste of her lips became sweeter and sweeter. Alara was the first one to break away, drawing in a deep breath, "Tarkan, maybe.....I, I..... love you more than you know, but..."

Tarkan rested his forehead against hers, " I know, I know....we should wait. I agree. I want this,...us ...to be perfect." He whispered, trying to calm that burning desire that had fired up inside him.

She smiled, resting her head on his shoulder, " Thank you my love....and it will be....perfect, that is. I know it will be." She muttered, clinging to him. " I say we skip the concert tonight and just stay here and talk about our future." She replied, snuggling up against him..

Tarkan agreed, " Yes, I like that idea. I need to book my flight to Istanbul anyway, so I can let my mom know when I will be home." He answered, as he smoothed back her curly hair.  The thought of leaving for Turkey and leaving her behind still sent a wave of regret through him. It was definitely something he wasn't looking forward to.

They cuddled together in the sofa as Tarkan searched for the best flight out of Paris going to Istanbul for Friday. There was one flight out of Paris on Friday heading to Istanbul, at at 5:35pm. That would get him home by 9:00pm, but that was three and a half hours away from Paris and Alara..

All of a sudden it hit him..... Why hadn't he thought of this before...... He sat up on the sofa, looking at her as if he had just solved the mysteries of the world.....

" Alara..... Why don't you come home with me. Come with me, you can meet my parents and that would give me the opportunity to meet your parents too..... I know you haven't been home in a while. Please say yes.." He begged...
