Y/n x Spider (From Avatar: The Way of Water) Part 2

I'd rather be with you.

(Spider's POV)

I wake up early in the morning. Usually, I would decide to wake up Y/n up too, but I decide to let her sleep in this morning.

I feel that I have to use the bathroom, so I walk over to the bathroom, quietly, making sure to not wake up Y/n.

When I am done using the bathroom, I go back into the bedrooms. To my freight, I don't see Y/n in her bed. Is history going to repeat itself? Is Y/n going to act like nothing happened yesterday? I sigh and let my head slightly fall, out of lack of hope.

I decide to hope for the best and go to the place where I am sure Y/n will be: her book corner.

I am not surprised to see Y/n reading a book, in her book corner when I arrive there. I try not to look suspicious. I don't want history to repeat itself, but if it does, I don't want to come off too strong this time. I've learned from past mistakes. Maybe, if I don't come off too strong this time, I wont be stuck in an endless loop. Although, I am sure that, after yesterday, things are going to be different from now on.

I go over to Y/n and sit next to her, not saying anything. Merely being there might upset her, talking would 100% make things worse, if they are bad.

Y/n looks over to me and I see her eyebags. I feel bad for keeping her up so late at night so much as to give her eyebags. Don't get me wrong, eyebags don't bother me, I think they're quite pretty, but seeing them reminds me how late we stayed up last night.

Last night, a night to remember. Never forget. Y/n was different last night, the good kind of different. A different that has me wanting her to be like that forever. But if she was like that, she wouldn't be Y/n. I guess she would, just not as much as she used to be.

Y/n frowns before speaking, "I thought you left?"

I furrow my eyebrows, "Why would I do that?"

Y/n shrugs, "I just thought that you wanted to go out in Pandora."

"I'd rather be with you." I admit, with a smile.
