Don't let me die!

(Y/n's POV)

As I finish reading my book, I realize that I was right, once and again. The beginning will forever be the same and the fate will forever be the same. You can't chance what is written in. Once it's there, it's there for good.

After reading the tragic love story, where the love interest dies in the end, I go over to my bed and attempt to take a small nap. I don't want to take too long of a nap, otherwise I won't be tired tonight, and I won't be able to fall asleep.

I fall asleep, and not a moment later, I wake up. Except, it is like I've been shipped somewhere far from Pandora. I am not in the lab, or in Pandora. It seems that I am on earth. How did I get here though? And why is Spider here, too? An even better question, why is he in, what seems to be, my room? And why is he clothed? That is something I've never seen before. As is this room that I am in.

The room has white walls and a stone fireplace right across from the massive bed that I am currently sitting on. The sheets are a sheer white.

Spider looks over at me, "Ah, you're awake. How did you sleep?"

My eyes are wide open, signing that I am really confused.

I blurt out, "I slept well, especially since I knew you were sleeping on that uncomfortable couch."

Spider responds, but I am too dazed to comprehend what it is that he said, because I have realized something. This is exactly how the book I read, before I slept, began. Why am I living in my book? And why is Spider the love interest? This can't be real. It isn't. It isn't...

Am I dreaming? I have to be.

I accidentally say what I have realized, "I'm dreaming, aren't I?" Merely a whisper, but somehow, Spider heard what I said.

I try to wake up, but I can't. I try so hard, yet, I fail.

Spider walks closer to me, "What was that?"

"Nothing." I plainly respond.

"That's not what you're supposed to say. They're going to take me now. And they're going to murder me. It's all your fault. I'm dying because of you. It's your fault."

My eyes widen even more. Who are "they?" Why are they going to murder Spider?

I am left speechless and suddenly, both Spider, and I, have teleported to a dark room with one wooden chair in the middle of it. I look to my right and Spider is there, staring at the chair as if he is taking his last breath. I look back at the chair, which is difficult to see due to the darkness of the big, empty room.

I hear a thud, sounding like a door closing. I turn to the direction at which the noise came and I see two, tall, frightening men walk out from an archway.

Spider immediately turns around and runs off behind me. I turn around and see where he's trying to go. He starts to go into the darkness of the room. I run after him, trying to find him. When I am able to see a wall, I see him hunched over on the floor, with his head shoved in his knees. I walk over to him, confused.

I crouch down next to him and whisper, "Why are you scared? What's happening?"

He pulls his head from his knees as if it is extremely heavy. He just stares into my eyes with, what seems like, fear and sorrow. In that moment, I feel bad for him.

"Spide-" I begin to say his name, but he is quickly pulled off the ground. I look to see where he was pulled to and it is the two men, holding him. Each of them, holding either arm of Spider's. Spider starts screaming. His screams are dreadful. I try to think of something to do, however, I know that those men could easily overpower me.

They begin to walk off with Spider, who is kicking and flailing his legs everywhere, in attempt to escape from the men's grasps.

I chase after the men, trying to help Spider. But somehow, they are faster than me, even with me running, and them walking.

Suddenly, I feel an intense shock down my spine when I feel a firm hand grab both my shoulders, holding me back. I look back to see who it is, but it is nobody that I know. The face does seem familiar, though. I shake and squirm, trying to get released from this guy's grasp. But alas, he is too sturdy and powerful. I can still hear Spider's ear-piercing screams. Is he really going to die?

"Let me go! Let me go!" Spider screams and cries, yet the men have no pity. No mercy is going to be shown, I can tell. I start screaming at the men so that they will let Spider go, "Stop it! Let him go! Stop!"

They do not stop, nor do they let him go.

They get to the chair, that stands in the middle of the room, which, for some reason, I can now see.

One of the men force Spider into the chair, keeping him there. The other man grabs a rope. Are they going to tie him up?

Spider's screams grow louder and more unpleasant. He squirms and squirms, calling out my name, hoping I can help. "Y/n! Tell them to stop! Don't let them do this! This is your doing, you can stop them! Please! Y/n! Don't let them hurt me! Don't let me die!" Spider pleads. I can't do anything to help him.

The men tie him to the chair, making it clearly hard to move for Spider.

I completely stop fighting back from the man that is holding me from behind. A tear streams down my face. For the first time in my life, I have cried out of fear; fear that I would lose someone near and dear to me.

Despite Spider's agonizing screams, my head is silent. And then my ears start to ring.

Right when I zone back in, I hear Spider say the most outrageous thing.

"Y/n! If you truly love me, you will save me! Please don't let me die! Don't let them do this to me!" And then he goes right back to yelling at the men.

One of the men pulls out a small dagger. What is he supposed to do with that dinky thing?

Just then, the dagger gets shoved into Spider's lower stomach. I scream. I scream and run after Spider, getting free from the man that was holding me. I run to Spider, not wanting him to die.

I suddenly am right back in the man's grasp. Except, he is holding one of my wrists this time. His firm grasp hurts. I still try to run after Spider, but the man restricts me from doing so. When I try to hit him and break free, he pulls out a dagger similar to the one that is lying inside Spider's stomach. And with that dagger, the man holding me back, stabs me in my side. I drop to my knees in pain. Agonizing pain. The dagger stings inside me. As I fell, the man let go of my arms, as he knows all too well that I am too weak to get up with the amount of pain that I am feeling. I scream to the top of my lungs, even though it hurts to move.

I hear Spider yell at the man, "Stop! Don't hurt her! I will kill you! I will-"

And his voice cuts off. I lift my head quicker than I ever have before. When my head is lifted, I wish I would not have been so curious. Spider has had his throat slit. Thick, red blood gushes from his sliced throat. It squirts out like a sprinkler. There is so much blood. It isn't like I can't handle blood, but knowing that it is Spider's makes me ill.

I shriek and wail and cry. The kind of cry that burns your throat. I don't even remember the pain of my stab wound anymore, all that I can feel pain over is Spider's cold, lifeless, frail body that sits limply in that brown, wooden chair.
