The room was silent, the occasional sounds of book shuffling filled the air as the traveler glanced at [Y/n] wo was currently arranging the books on the wooden podium, her gaze focused and breath still as she grazed each cover and read each title. The blonde creased his brows, his breath dampening as much as hers' as everyone in the room anticipated to know the truth. However, the room seemed too suffocating for a certain faerie who decided to break the silence.
"Speaking of [Y/n]," Paimon spoke up, flying closer towards the archon's back, "does anyone else know about this place? Seems pretty abandoned to Paimon,"
Paimon blinked, turning around to shrug at Aether who creased his brows in worry. The traveler decided to step forward, lightly tapping his hand on her shoulder, causing her to jolt, making Paimon seemingly jump back in the air.
"[Y/n]...?" Aether spoke softly, "is everything okay?"
The archon let out a breath she didn't know she was holding, her heart panging loudly in her ears as she tried to calm down, closing her eyes to ease her minds, "apologies, i was... zoning out," she sighed before shaking her head mildly, "Only the Dendro Archon, Lord Rukkhadevata knows of this place, when the Hydro Archon, Egeria, gifted this to me, Lord Rukkhadevata and I made a promise and she helped me wiped the memories of those who know of this place's existence, including Egeria,"
A moment passed before [Y/n] took a large step back, taking a deep breath as her eyes glanced at the books once more before facing the duo, "take a seat guys," her usual demeanor suddenly reappeared, her hands motioning towards the large curve like mirror, "Let's take a ride back in time. you ready?"
"Before that, may I ask whose books are those?" Aether questioned, an unsettling feelin in his gut building up as the Theo Archon took a pause to answer his question
"Oh!" she snapped out of whatever trance she was in, "It's just Chi's, Zhongli's, Venti's, Mine... Y'kno, basically everyone important to know the story of whatever happened?"
"Ohh," Paimon squeaked, "Paimon's got a bad feeling about this," she whispered towards Aether who looked towards the Theo Archon, gulping down whatever bad feeling was building up his throat before opening his mouth, "we're ready,"
"Alright," Dian took one last breath before placing a Theo orb on the pedestal in the middle of the room, projecting the stars in the mirrors around them, "here we go," she spoke as she placed the 5 five books on the orb one by one as they floated; [Y/n] took a step back as she rushed to her seat, her hands gripping her knees.

blood splattered across the field as many ran from the disaster befalling them. Houses shattered and glasses scattered. Despite the blood slip-erring the floor, a little brunette could be seen panting, her body visibly heaving up and down as her legs tried to carry her as much as they can.
Ju Huang averted her eyes to shield herself from the sea of blood pooling at her now-destroyed make-shift village. She had tripped over on her own two feet, her breath thinning as she looked up to see the snake-like god hiss at her, lifting its head up and immediately dashing down, aiming straight at her. The young adult stood up, holding up her spear and aiming at the sea monster's mouth.
"Ju Huang!" a soft voice called out, catching the girl's attention. Time seemed to freeze as the God of Dust hugged the young woman and held her hand, "Live my dear," she softly smiled, easily towering over the human, blinding her from the demise that was about to befall the two.
"This is how Ju Huang became an adeptus," [Y/n] spoke solemnly, "the god of dust, Lady Guizhong gave her a second chance to live by quickly transferring her energy moments she died,"
Aether's expression saddened, his eyes focusing on the devastating state of the land, dead bodies around as the god of dust died in a frozen position, cradling a soul in her arms. Before the blood splatter across the screen could make Paimon sick, it quickly fast-forwarded to a white room, architectures never seen before as it showed 9 unfamiliar people standing next to each other, keeping distance.
The 9 people were clad in ancient like clothing, slightly tattered and tainted with red and brown, the emotions their faces bore filled with sorrow, regret, and pain.
"Congratulations," a deep voice chuckled, "...victors of the archon war,"
A white-haired figure glanced around the room, her expression incomprehensible as she took note of how each and every one looked, her eyes sharpening into a glare as another god dared to look back. In a room full of distrust, there was no doubt that the air was too thick not even the God of Anemo could control. It was a moment where a contract in which not even the God of Contracts himself would be able to alter; a contract between the 9 Archons made, sealed, and waxed, never to be broken.
"There were NINE victors in the archon war?" Paimon exclaimed, her high-pitched voice bouncing of the walls, startling the two that were watching with deep focus.
"Of course," [Y/n] shrugged, a light chuckle escaping her mouth, never wondering why it was not obvious, "if the archon of death existed, don't you think it would be right to balance it out with the archon of life? Thus 9 Archons,"
"Then what's the Dendro Archon for?" Paimon scratched her head
[Y/n] let out a strained smile, her eyes glancing to the side as she avoided eye contact, her fingers fumbling together as she blinked away a sudden pain that washed over her, "Humans are so much more to simply be classified into a generalized concept of life Paimon," she let out a sigh, "they can be so kind yet evil, so sweet yet sour, so patient yet so so temperamental- they're... fascinating," her tone grew sadder, "but that's their flaw y'know? Being able to be more and do more- sometimes merely too much, but that's what the Zeo archon, Orias, loved about them,"
"The Zeo Archon?" Aether tilted his head, his mind flashing towards memories of why such name felt familiar. Daring, he asked, ignoring the warnings blasting through his head as his tongue moved, "Did... you know them [Y/n]?"
Silence.
The room grew still as the image on the mirror froze, light seemingly growing darker as silence continued to envelope the three. Aether bit his tongue, bile of regret pushing at his throat, his stomach dropping as Paimon squirmed in her seat, not liking the atmosphere as [Y/n] stayed still.
"Of course," Dian chuckled, her head tilting towards the two as she wiped a stray tear running down her right eye, her voice slightly cracking, "How could I not know my own brother?"
