Chapter 13 - Field Trip

I wasn't able to get back to class until around 0:50 pm, which was when Hero Training was supposed to begin.

While I was gone, Izuku had handed the reins of being class rep to Iida since he showed good leadership as I passed out.

It was pretty cool for him to do that, but class had started before I could speak to him about it.

"Today's training will be a little different," said Aizawa, "You'll have four instructors: Me, All Might, and two other faculty members."

Four pros? I get that we have a lot of students in this class, but isn't just one enough?

"Sir! What kinda training is this?" asked the student with weird elbows.

Aizawa then held up a card that said "Rescue" on it.

"You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that."

Yes! I've been waiting for this!

The class seemed to be excited too since everyone was chatting about it.

"Guys, I'm not finished yet." Aizawa said.

Everyone stopped talking once he said that.

"What you wear in this exercise is up to you," he continued, "I know you're all excited about costumes, but keep in mind that you haven't gotten used to them yet, and they might limit your abilities."

He pressed the button to reveal the cubbies filled with our cubbies.

"This special training's at an off-campus facility, so we'll be taking a bus to get there."

He began to walk out of the classroom.

"That's all, start getting ready."

I was chatting with Uraraka outside when we saw Izuku come out.

He was wearing his extracurricular outfit instead of his mom's jumpsuit, but he still had on his accessories from it.

"Deku?" Uraraka called out as we walked over to him, "Why are you wearing your P.E. clothes?"

"Yeah, what happened to the jumpsuit?" I asked him.

Izuku looked somewhat embarassed when we approached him.

"Well, you saw it after the combat training," he explained, "It was kinda trashed!"

I never even got to see him do that back there...

Suddenly, we heard a whistle blow loudly.

This took me by surprise, so I covered my ears to reduce the noise.

It turned out that Iida was the one who blew it.

"Gather around, Class 1-A!" he announced, "Using your student numbers, form two neat lines so we can load the bus efficiently!"

He started blowing the whistle again as I got annoyed.

"Iida's really kicking it into high gear as our class rep, huh?" Izuku said.

Soon enough, we had boarded the bus and we were on our way 

The bus was pretty spaced out, so we didn't really use Iida's plan.

That caused him to get a little upset, though...

"If we're pointing out the obvious," the girl with green hair sitting next to me said, "Then there's something I wanna say..."
