"You know what's strange?" Chuuya asked, eating a spoonful of bubblegum ice cream Dazai bought him "I can literally chew on a piece of ice- like seriously chew on it and I'll be fine
but there's time that I drink cold water and I'm in pain. I'm not kidding. I can't drink cold water at all."

"Really? That's weird" Dazai said. He already finished his ice cream and was now eating the cone. "I know! I think there's something wrong with me"

The sun already sank. It was getting chilly and most of the park was empty. Street lights turned on already but it wasn't completely dark yet.

Dazai laughed "alright alright, serious question- Would you rather have telekinesis or telepathy?" Chuuya hummed

"I mean.. telepathy is cool but it's not that useful" "right!?" "Like I can't use telepathy to bring me the remote from the table when I'm laying on the sofa! As a student it's kinda useful for like.. answers on tests and stuff but how am I gonna use that as an adult?"

"So you'll choose telekinesis right?" Dazai asked "definitely. Okay my turn. Would you rather have... respect or unlimited power?"

Dazai hummed "respect is power. Like.. you understand what I mean" "I do I do" Dazai chuckled "so I guess respect. Even though they're like.. coming together in a way" Chuuya nodded

Chuuya's phone dinged and he checked it

1 new messages from: Ane-San.
"Chuuya I'm going out to work. Do you want me to pick you up from your meeting or you're good?"
Sent: 18:15pm

"Everything okay?" Dazai asked looking at Chuuya. "Yeah yeah. My sister is going to work so she asked if I want her to pick me up from here. It's getting kind of late but I don't know.. I kinda want to stay" Chuuya looked at Dazai with a small smile

"I'm.. if you want to I can walk you home... Or drive you, if you live far" Chuuya smiled at Dazai "I would like that.." Dazai smiled back as Chuuya told Kouyou that he's alright on his own

"I'm Surprised your sister let you go here." Dazai said "what? Because of "strange danger"?" Chuuya chuckled "I know I don't look like I can do much but I'm actually very capable of protecting myself. I know Jiu-Jitsu and Krav Maga so I'm not really "defenseless" or anything like that. My sister knows I can take care of myself"

"Huh. Yeah you told me you know some martial arts and stuff on your letter." Chuuya smiled "you remembered" Dazai chuckled "believe it or not all of your letters are kept safe in my house"

Chuuya laughed "that's good to know huh?"

Chuuya and Dazai spent hours together. Dazai showed off some tricks with the dogs and Chuuya showed him some tricks in martial arts. It was already 9:30pm when Dazai walked Chuuya home.

"Thank you again.. For walking me home. And getting me ice cream. It was really nice of you." Dazai chuckled "anytime. I had a lot of fun today Chuuya. Thank you for meeting me. And the dogs obviously."

Chuuya smiled at Dazai and gave him a hug that Dazai returned with one hand "I had fun today too.. I hope we can do it again soon. Maybe even catch the sunset from your place this time?" Dazai smiled "that'll be amazing. Have a good night Chuuya. I'll text you in the morning?" Chuuya nodded and let go of Dazai

"Good night.. thank you again for everything. Text me when you get home?" "I will. Bye bye Chuuya" "bye bye Dazai.." Chuuya closed the door and peeked through the eye-hole until he couldn't see Dazai anymore.

He texted Kouyou and gave Arahabaki his food before switching to PJ's and scrolling on his phone in bed

"I'm home"

"Then I'll go to bed now.. good night Dazai."
