Kakashi x Iruka~ love hurts

Chapter 3: The rescue pt 2

   Iruka carried Kakashi on his back as he and Pakkun darted through trees on their way to the hidden leaf. Things were going smoothly for a couple of hours until...
  A kuni shot out from nowhere. Iruka merely dodged it as it flew past right at the corner of his face. He immediately stopped and looked around for the enemy. They crept out and were few inches away from him. There were 5 of them who now lept forward in different directions at Iruka. Iruka quickly set Kakashi down safely away from the enemies with Pakkun watching him. He began to engage in hand to hand combact with them. 1 against 5 (imagine madara style 1 against thousands). He kicked one of them in the gut and head-butted one (Tanjiro style) while slamming a kuni in one's throat leaving only 2 standing. They jumped in the air and did a spin slaming their leg on Iruka's head (rock lee style), then proceeded to punching him on the stomach, which he blocked and back flipped behing them, slamming his hands on their neck pressure point passing them out. Iruka ran over to where he laid Kakashi. He hadn't taken time to exermine him carefully, he just noticed he was still bleeding a bit and he was scared to even imagine the source of the bleeding. Immediately, he took out a mini med-kit from his pouch and unzipped the vest & raised up the jounin's shirt just to see what he had expected. A large gash ran through his abdomen almost extending to his back and was oozing blood. 'It's still fresh, so whatever those basterdized entity did to him was not long ago' he thought to himself as he cleaned off the blood with a large iodine swab cloth. The wound was so deep that it required stitching. He did not have much experience in medicine, but at least he had stitched a few wounds a time or two, so he gently and steadily did the job with shaky hands. Actually he kinda admired Kakashi's form, his toned body and rock hard.... yeah, but he brushed it aside and focused on the main issue infront of him. His stitching wasn't half bad, but still showed not much experience. He also got a water bottle and attempted to give him water, but also did not want to invade his privacy by pulling down his mask, so he held the mask, looked away and with the help of Pakkun (since Pakkun knew what he was up to) forced some water down his throat knowing that he'll be dehydrated. He turned around for a sec and heard him cough. He turned to Kakashi to see an eye half open looking around at alert. Iruka was so happy he was awake that he was moved to tears.
  "Iruka... I..Is that.."
  "Kakashi! I'm so glad you're alive! I don't know what everyone would have done if you died!!" Iruka said, even confused if he was happy or sad or both as tears were flowing down his cheeks. Kakashi lifted himself up a bit and wiped the tears off Iruka's face.
   "It's okey, I'm fine, just a little traumatized but I'm fine now thanks to you". Kakashi said as he gave an eye smile. Iruka knew that had a deeper meaning but he didn't want to get into sophisticated stuff right now, at least not until he was treated fully and recovered well.
 
   They made their way back to konoha. Iruka felt kinda bad for leaving Genma and Raido, but he was sure they'll be fine. Kotesu and Izumo were as happy to see Kakashi alive with Iruka. They exchanged a short pleasantry and Iruka took Kakashi straight to the hospital, before now leaving to tell Tsunade.
