This one hurts.
This one is painful.
This one cuts deep.
Why?
He read my pain. He told me he felt the rawness of my words. He knew my heart had been broken to the deepest degree.
Then he proceeds to tell me when he met me, he knew there was no one else. That if any of his friends had met me, they'd understand too.
I wasn't sure.
He could see my hesitancy.
I told him lies, I'm sorry for that. I told him I was in, but I wasn't. There were others, but slowly I was there too.
He was on my mind, and I couldn't get him out. Then he asked me to be with just him and I didn't hesitate. I knew I wanted him and only him.
He said, "I love you."
I said, "I love you."
I knew I fell in love with him.
Then life hit me. Oh, did life hit me hard.
He showed his true colors. He left me when I thought I had nothing, but then he showed me what it felt to have nothing.
He knew I was at my worst, but he didn't care.
And with that...this one hurts.
He once told me he loved my writing. That I should write a novel. That he'd read it.
Well, here it goes, my love.
This one is for him.

I told him, "You have me now."
And he said, "I love you."
