Kato POV

As much as I didn't want to scare Sakura-san, this must be done. No one knew about this except for the person who was involved. I had to tell him, if I didn't then he would think something terrible would have happened to me. I crawled through the air vents, the route grew easier and easier each time I did it. I kicked down the air vent. The room was silent and dark, I jumped down onto the floor next to his bed.

"You don't think you could be any louder?" Sasuke muttered, he was laying on his back. He glanced over toward me for a split second. "Keep it down would you?"

"Sorry, I tried making a cool entrance but it didn't work out in my favor."

Sasuke yawned, he had yet to announce to the world that he had woken up. He's been faking everything since he truly woke up. One night he came into my room with a letter, in the letter it basically explained how he wanted me to come to his room so we could talk.

"How much longer do we have?" He was referring to the situation that was currently putting my life in danger.

I shrugged, "Not long, Sakura-san wants me to move into her room, that's going to make it harder for me. I don't know how long I can keep this up."

Sasuke scoffed, "You can keep this up. Knowing Sakura she's not going to be as active now that she has the baby with her. Just sneak around while she's sleeping."

"Do you really think they'll ship me off? I mean you're going to be my adoptive parent. You can fight for my rights can't you?"

"That's the thing." Sasuke folded his arms across his chest, "My background was already making the situation hard but now knowing that you're the nephew of Tezo they're probably going to push you away along with him."

"What's the plan then?" I sighed, "It seems like I'm going to lose."

"Don't worry, I got a plan Kato, just keep this secret of me being awake between us. You got an army behind you so don't worry about anything."

"Okay."

"All you need to do is get Tezo to talk, and I mean talk."

"How am I supposed to do that?" My voice rose three octaves, greatly I was confused because out of all the people that would make him talk I was the last person who could." "I'm just a little person nii-chan." I giggled when I heard Sasuke groan.

"Knowing that brain freak Shikamaru, he's going to want someone to identify him. That kicks out Naruto and I, it only leaves you and Sakura. Knowing Sakura she's not going to want to do it. So it'll be up to you, however, you're going to have to get them to trust you. Shikamaru is already on your side, nonetheless, the interrogation team isn't."

I began to kick my feet under the chair while I thought about the mission I was about to intake. "Alright sounds like a plan, next time Shikamaru-san brings it up I'll throw myself out there."

"Okay, and remember that this stays between us and only us."

I nodded my head, Sasuke paid no attention to me as I climbed out of the chair back through the air vent. Since I was young I've always known that I was different than most kids, yet this entire situation adds more icing to the cake. I sat in the vent with my head between my knees trying my best to fight back the tears. I've already had one family ripped from me and now that I have another one I'm on the verge of getting this one taken away. Sasuke and I have had a lot of conversations about my adoption process. I knew what I was getting myself into, I was willing to put up with the fight. Now I have all of this in the way, I didn't do anything. All I wanted to be was a normal six-year-old child that goes to school. I've never had a normal childhood, I just want to experience it with Shinachiku. I have a chance to be an older brother. I have a chance to make things right.
