The next day , I was sitting in the playground after attending my lessons. I had nothing to do and secondly, Kiara also wasn't present today so I had nothing to do instead of sitting idle in the playground. I started to think about the words Arlo spoke about participating in the competition. I knew that I must participate as it can be my only hope to increase my final score so I could join a good university. Actually I wanted to join the university which Lucas was joining because I didn't wanted to lose him as he treated me well but it was really close to an impossible task or you can say a daydream as he wanted to join the top university . I somehow considered him as one of my closest friend apart Kiara so I wanted to give my best to try joining the university as same as Lucas. I wanted to join the competition and show my athletic skills and improve my scores by getting a merit but it's just that it was Arlo who was asking me to participate and furthermore I wasn't good at studies. I just wanted to make him beg me cause it was satisfying to watch him this way and furthermore, I could tease him in the future saying that he used to beg me for joining competitions . I started to smile just at the thought of teasing him just like he did till a familiar voice called my name. It was Lucas

" Catherine . Why are you smiling . Did anything good happened? "
"No , there is just a bit possibility of me going through good things . "
" Look, I repaired your earphones. Just check it once "
I plugged it into my phone and damn , they were working again .
" Lucas . It's working "
" See , I didn't lied "
" How did you fixed it ? You are really great "
" It was just a small magnetic glitch . Very simple. Let's go now "
" You are really worthy of people always praising you and following you "
" Catherine, can I ask you something? "
" Say it ! "
" Can you join the provincial sports meeting?"
" Umm..."
" Are you afraid of delaying your studies?"
" Partially yes . Arlo also asked me about it several times . Actually it's not that I don't want to participate but my grades are not good at all. If I spend more time and energy in these things Then I'm afraid that I won't be able to keep up with my studies "
" It makes sense. It's not right to go "
" I thought you were here to convince me "
" Off course study is more important so why would I force you "
" Hmm ... You really understand me the most "

I was over the moon when Lucas just supported my decision unlike Arlo who just wanted his own profit despite of respecting someone's decision . I just don't know why I bring up Arlo everytime while thinking of anyone else but he's quite a good example when you have to motivate people. You can just compare them to Arlo and they would really be satisfied because Arlo isn't good at anything except playing basketball. I know that he may be good at studies if you compare him to me but his general knowledge is far more behind than mine. He is just average at most of the things but unlike the other people as same as him , he is quite different cause he is really too annoying. More annoying than anyone can possibly be . I hate my brother, Harry but even Harry can't compete him when it comes to annoy someone. Arlo really has a PHD in this criteria and there is no doubt in that . After talking to Lucas, we were called to the playground to form a line. All my classmates were standing in a line and I joined them by escaping through all the people standing beside them .Then our physical education teacher started to shout again while blowing his whistle which was always hanged in his neck with a long white thread

"You guys really make me angry . Do you know that ? You all are having your last time schooling . Next year you all will be studying in universities and colleges but just look at yourself once. The core strength of your body is too bad . Let me tell you , poor physical fitness affects memory and affects brain development. With a poor brain , you won't be admitted to a university . I let you exercise. I do it for your own good but you all don't listen to me . And Kiara , stand straight ! Noah ! Not convinced right!!? Okay come here , Noah, Kiara , Smith , Fallon and three more volunteers, I'll take you all to practice . Others dismissed !"
