Both Anubhav and Haseena were again spending time together and their friendship was growing stronger day by day...both had realised their love for each other but still unknown to the fact that the person opposite love them more

A few days later

Devaki Niwas

As usual after dinner Anubhav and Devika played with Ishaan while maa adored them...it was almost time for him to sleep therefore Anubhav held him in his lap and started patting him to sleep...it was now his duty to put him to sleep every night since the day he tried once...ishaan enjoyed sleeping in his lap and wouldn't leave him until he is asleep but this was only till the time he is not asleep that too at night...din mei aur uthte time toh usko mumma hi chahiye hoti hai...when they were enjoying their family time Anubhav's phone rang which he quickly silenced so that Ishaan's sleep does not break...he quietly shifted him to Dev's lap and went to attend the call

After three hours

He came downstairs rushing and took his bike keys and was going out when Maa stopped him

Maa: beta kahi jaa raha hai?

AS: haan kuch kaam aa gaya thodi der mei aa jayenge (taking deep breathes as if controlling his anger)

Maa: kahan jaa raha hai...gyaarah (11) baj rahe hai (she questioned)

AS: aap so jana hum chaabi lekar jaa rahe hai thodi der mei aa jayenge (his voice was different his eyes were red)

Maa: bacche kuch hua hai kya? (softly)

AS: nahi...hum aate hai

Maa: koi baat hai toh bata de...kuch pareshaan lag raha hai tu (concerned)

AS: kuch nahi bas aise hi lag raha hoga aapko...waise aap kyu abhi tak jaag rahi hai...aap toh jaldi so jati hai na?

Maa: haan vo bas paani lene aayi thi

AS: hmm...hum aate hai thodi der mei (he left)

Maa: isse achanak kya hua...abhi toh sabke saath khel raha tha (worried)

Anubhav's POV

I was riding my bike at the maximum speed possible...it was already 11:30pm therefore the streets were almost empty causing me to increase the speed further...my mind was occupied with all that conversations I just then had with my seniors...I tried to convince them a lot but failed...this is definitely not an official work he was just taking revenge and was trying to attack us personally...but he is my senior and can't do anything...I just need to follow his orders because he'll be keeping an eye on me...now I have to do that thing myself I feared the most...ahhaa...what should I do...its already about to be 1 in the morning I should go home and think about this later

I entered and was surprised to see Dev sleeping on sofa with a book on his stomach...he must have slept while reading it...I shook him

'yeh ishaan ki aawaz bhaiya jaisi kyu lag rahi hai' he said still sleepy

'kyuki tumhare bhaiya hi utha rahe hai tumhe' I tried to wake him up

'Bhai aap?' he opened his eyes and for a second he was scared after seeing me

'haan...yahan kyu so rahe the...andar ja kar so jao' I said to him politely

'voh neend nahi aa rahi thi toh socha book padh lu yeh aur pata hi nahi chala kab aankh lag gayi...waise aap yahan ek baj gaya'
