They always had fun. There would always be a time to hang out by the park. It was Elaina and Skye. The unstoppable duo! Or what they would always be called. The dream team. And someday, they would have a dream to have a nonstop adventure no matter what happens, no matter how old they get. It was a promise. A promise to never lie to each other, to be together forever, and to never leave each other and stay by their side. Elaina broke that promise. She said she would always be with Skye and that she would be too. Elaina lied to her and left her. Why did she have to do that?

Little Skye's eyes opened. She rubbed her eyes and yawned, beaming her arms into the air. She hopped out of her bed and tip-toed downstairs, only to hear her parents yelling at each other again. Poor Skye was confused as to why they were yelling at each other this early, and all she could do was stand there and watch. Her parents argued and defended things of their own opinion. Skye's mom grabbed a glass and threw it at Skye's father. There was a big shatter, and the room was full of shame and silence.

"Curse you, you old woman! Get your things and leave at once!" Skye's father yelled as he covered his wounded cheek. Skye's mom was not convinced. She had a sly smile as she walked towards him.

"You can't get rid of me Gerald, you wouldn't want me to tell the police of what you did, now would you?"

His head was down and full of shame. "Curse you, Mary, you did all this."

She smiled. "Now, let's make a deal, you don't kick me out, and your secret is safe with me. Or even if you try to kick me out, I won't hesitate you humiliate you with your secret and kick you out. Now, what is it going to be?"

He screamed out of rage and stormed out of the room, shutting the door with a loud bang. Before Mary could spot Skye, she ran to her room. She closed the door behind and and jumped onto her bed. She cried, and she screamed out of rage.

"Why is my life like this!?! Why??"
Oh, but it is not fair, Elaina has a better life. right? Oh, but little Skye was wrong. All wrong.
