Every day as Skye made her way to classes, people continued to give her those gross looks, but for some reason, she always had Becky by her side. Skye always wondered why someone like Becky would want to be with someone like her. It never really made sense to her. Skye never thought about what she wanted. It never made any sense. At home, Skye would always walk past her parents who argued daily, and headed upstairs. She would lie on her bed until she was convinced that Becky was trying to do something. However, she always had second thoughts. What if she wanted to be my friend? What if she was using me, playing with me until she was satisfied? What if she was truly trying to become my friend? Was she trying to gain trust with me?

At school, Skye was in the library again, sitting in the corner she usually did with Elaina. She was sitting while reading a book when she saw a shadow in front of her. Something evil. An awful aura. She slowly turned her head up, to only see the girl Regina. Her book fell down her lap, and she started sweating inside. It felt like a thousand mice had taken over her stomach.
"Look who we have here. The sad loser who has no friends" Before she could even start someone tapped on her shoulder from behind.
"Hey, you really should do that now should you?"
It was Becky.
"Becky, what brings you here? Are you here to help me out?" Regina acted so sweet with her.
"I'm here to stop you. Don't bully my best friend again or things won't look good for you." Becky said as she did a disgusted look from looking at her head to toe. She turned around to Skye and helped out her hand, and without Skye thinking, she took her hand and got up and walked away with her out of the library. As they left, Skye snatched her hand away from her.
"Why would you want to help someone like me? I'm a nobody! I killed my own best friend. How could you ever want to be with someone like me?"
"You believe that? You know deep down you didn't do anything to her, you care for her so much."
"How would someone 'popular' like you know that?!?" Skye argued.
Becky didn't answer. She looked down and smiled, aligning her feet together straight. "If you want to know the truth, it would be petty confusing."
Skye was confused and only looked at her with confusion and rage.
"If you insist...I will tell you, that..I was just like you."
She smiled and then walked off, leaving Skye confused.
