When I was asked
"Are there any strong boys that want to help carry this?"
I immediately raised my hand,
Wanting to prove the teachers wrong.
When I was told that
My brother could play a game
But I couldn't
Because its
"Not for girls",
I joined in
And tried as hard as I could
To fit in with the boys.
Because if I didn't
I was left out,
I was alone,
I wasn't as strong,
I wasn't capable.
