"Oh my god, James!" Audrey exclaims

Audrey Cayle just heard her new friend James make a funny sexual reference.

"Then I said--"

"No more James! It's getting so weird!" Audrey laughed

James winked at Audrey and walked off.

"I'd tap that." Audrey's friend Stacy said

"EWW! Stacy! Gross!" Audrey yelled

"What? He's buff, nice, and super cute!" Stacy exclaimed

"And he's 5 feet tall." Audrey said

The surrounding people laughed because of Audrey's comment. Audrey didn't think she would get along with so many people but she realized middle school musicals are nothing compared to high school ones. This is so cool! Audrey thought.

"Ooh, here comes Clark Kent." Stacy whispered into Audrey's ear as she talked to her friend Alyssa

Clark Kent, aka Michael Ryan was Audrey's friend and new crush. Ever since they started talking more, they gotten closer and Audrey was developing strong feelings for Michael.

"Hey." Michael said in his sexy, natural born, deep voice as he passed by his friends

Audrey immediately looked away and waited backstage for her rehearsal que.

"Aida!" Audrey's theatre teacher yelled, "You're up!"

Audrey flinched. "Okay!"

"Running 'The Past is Another Land'! Where's Billy Dan?!" Her teacher yelled

"I'm here! In your gracefulness, princess." Billy said as he bowed to Audrey

"Radames, be ready." Audrey's teacher Ms.Harl said

"Got it!" Billy said happily

"Now, let's go through that again and this time, with everyone ready!" Ms.Harl said

"Okay!" Everyone yelled

"Now, que measure 47!"

The piano played and there was a moment of silence. The lights came on and Audrey stood there with Billy across from her.

"You are going to wipe the battle off my skin!" Billy yelled as he seductively took off his shirt

Audrey stood there silently.

"I won't wash your filthy Egyptian skin!" Audrey yelled

"You!" Billy yelled

"No, you!" Audrey yelled

"You know nothing about me! And care even less! How could you understand our emptiness?" Audrey sang beautifully

The play continued on with annoying, unexpected pauses from the theatre teacher. They ran through many scenes that were amazing and some that needed a hell-of-a-lot of work.

"Curtain call," Audrey's friend Chris said, "Finally!"

Audrey laughed quietly as curtain call was happening. The dancers and ministers were already out. Then it was the handmaidens, then Amonasoro, Zoser, Nehebka, Amneris, and then it was Audrey and Billy's turn.

Audrey walked from stage right while Billy walked from stage left and they met at center stage and grabbed hands and bowed. The sound booth guys were clapping for us. Billy lead the next bow raising his left hand and then bowing. Next he pointed at the band in the pit, then the sound guys, and then to the cast. They did a final bow and waved. The grand drape closed and they all felt like a job well done.
