Wei Wuxian sat there stunned at Lan Wangji's behavior but he didn't mind it. He kind of liked how Lan Wangji acted towards him. Maybe he really does have a chance with him.

The next day, they were walking around Mount Muxi, Wen Chao telling them to find the Xuanwu cave, where the divine mythical beast Xuanwu of Slaughter lives inside.

Wei Wuxian started to flirt with Luo Qingyang (Mianmian) which Lan Wangji noticed and glared at him but walked passed and ignored him.

After a few minutes of walking, Lan Wangji stopped and groaned a little when once again his stomach started hurting.

Wei Wuxian frowned when he heard Lan Wangji groaned lowly.

He definitely knew that there was something off about Lan Wangji and decided to walked towards him with a smile on his face to maybe cheer up his Lan Zhan.

"Lan Zhan! Are you okay? You seem tired"

"I'm fine."

"But I heard you groaning and saw you clutched your stomach a little. Btw you look a little fat- no offense but it's true."

Lan Wangji glared at him and walked passed him.

Wei Wuxian sigh but he really wanted to help Lan Wangji so he smirked and followed Lan Wangji as he sneaked behind him and directly carried him bridal style.

Lan Wangji let out a gasp and looked at Wei Wuxian.

"Wei Ying!"

"Now, now. You're pale. You look like you're about to pass out. Stay put. We're going to find that cave soon"

"Jiang-Xiong...are those two for real?"

"Huh?"

Jiang Cheng turned to his side and saw Wei Wuxian carrying Lan Wangji in a bridal style and Lan Wangji frowning.

Jiang Cheng couldn't help but face palm. He couldn't believe they weren't dating.

His brother has been so oblivious that it hurt his eyes to see doing couple-things and are oblivious with their feelings.

"Don't mind them Huaisang. Wei Wuxian is an idiot who can't even confess his feelings for Lan Wangji. I'd rather be blind than watch those two!"

Jiang Cheng exclaim and continued to walk and look around for the cave, Nie Huaisang following after him holding his fan close to his chest.

Wei Wuxian was getting tired and set Lan Wangji down.

Lan Wangji looked at him confuse as to why he was let down and Wei Wuxian chuckled at his bewildered face.

Wei Wuxian then looked around. He for one, actually knew where the cave was, but he wanted to spend more time with Lan Wangji...he ended up delaying. So he sigh and took something from his robe and threw it to a foggy like place as the fog cleared up.

Wen Chao's mistress, Wang Lijao who saw it squealed loudly and kept on pulling on Wen Chao's sleeves happily.

"Wen-Er! I found the cave!"

"Amazing! I know my baobao would find it! You're so beautiful and smart my baobao!"

Wen Chao complimented and kissed Wang Lijao's cheek making them all disgusted internally.

Even the Wen guards and disciple were disgusted.

They went inside the cave and stopped when they ended into a cliff where you can't even see the bottom of how dark it is.
