Wei Wuxian said...for once Lan Wangji felt happy and knowing that Wei Wuxian was also happy, he showed Wei Wuxian a smile before closing his eyes to sleep again.

"Lan Zhan...look at him, he's so adorable"

Wei Wuxian said cooing at the small baby in his arms.

Lan Wangji was still laying down, they have been there for probably 24 hours by now as Wei Wuxian guessed.

Luckily for them, Wei Wuxian has taken some food with them before going to Mount Muxi, so they have something to eat.

Wei Wuxian already explained what happened and they came to a conclusion that the baby was both theirs because they were the only one who was there that night and was each other's first time.

They also confessed each other's feelings when deciding what to do with the little bundle of joy.

Lan Wangji smiled at them when the baby looked at him while it was turning. Lan Wangji noticed his silver-mercury eyes...

"Wei Ying. He got your eyes"

"I know... Bummer, I wanted him to have your beautiful golden eyes"

Lan Wangji could only smile, Wei Wuxian smiled back and held Lan Wangji's hand with his free hand. 

"I Love You, Lan Zhan"

"I Love You Too Wei Ying"

The next day, Lan Wangji was slowly recovering due to his golden core helping him and Wei Wuxian passing some of his spiritual energy to him.

The baby was feeding off on Lan Wangji, gently sucking on his slight swollen nipples. Wei Wuxian laughed at that but was immediately shut off by Lan Wangji using the silencing charm.

"Lan Zhan...do you want everyone to know about our little A-Yuan's existence?"

Lan Wangji frowned as he looked at the now sleeping baby in his chest.

Yes, they had named him Wei Yuan, no courtesy name as they thought it was too soon and they don't know what courtesy name would fit for their son.

"I don't know...Xiongzhang will be happy to know...Uncle will be furious and would probably try to take him away from us!"

Lan Wangji exclaimed at the end, feeling a bit emotional. Wei Wuxian noticed the new tears forming as Lan Wangji cradled their son closer.

Wei Wuxian looked at them sadly and went to sit behind Lan Wangji and hugged him from behind, comforting the now crying Lan Wangji.

"Shh don't cry now Lan Zhan. Our baby will not be taken away from us. I will make sure of it"

Wei Wuxian said as he kissed Lan Wangji's neck who finally calm down a little.

"I swear to my life that I will protect the two of you. I will never let them hurt you both."

Lan Wangji had finally calm down and was now sleeping on Wei Wuxian's shoulder.

Wei Wuxian only smiled as he slowly and carefully stood up and fixed Lan Wangji to sleep on the ground with his outer robes as the blanket. He then took little Wei Yuan and placed him beside his Baba.

Wei Wuxian smiled at the two of them sleeping peacefully.

"Don't worry Lan Zhan. I'll find a way to hide our son and protect you both....Even if it means I have to die."

On the third day they were inside, there was still no sign of their sects looking for them.

Wei Wuxian was kind of thankful for that, because that means he can still find a way to hide their son somewhere or maybe both him and Lan Wangji could ran away from their sects and hide somewhere with their child.
