The blazing forges of Isengard were the dark towers' only defence against the blistering cold raging on its doorstep. The smoking caverns of fire and ash were a sharp difference from the thick blanket of snow which surrounded the breeding ground. Their Queen was mighty, her display of shear power was but a taste of the destruction yet to come. With each howling breath of icy wind the frost touched Uruk-hai roared with her, their cries were deafening and unyielding as the storm raged on around them.

A twisted grin spread across the forgemaster's lips as the savage winds, paired with the heavy snow began to effortlessly pull down the once mighty trees of Fangorn. Uruk-hai and Orcs alike raised their voices to the deafening chorus, praising the name of Jadis as their Queen became an angel in their eyes.

"OUR QUEEN PROVIDES!" The malformed forgemaster leads the troops chorus, "OUR QUEEN PROVIDES!" He roars, commanding his men forward into the storm to collect the fallen trees. The Orcs swarm the dead tree's limbs, dismembering the fallen titans as the troops continue to chant, "OUR QUEEN PROVIDES!"

As relentless as their Queen's mighty storm the troops continued on, Jadis providing them with fuel for the forge's insatiable hunger and with it more heat for their breeding caverns of mud. The membrane walls pulsate with new life as fresh Uruk-hai worm their way out of the ground like maggots.

"JADIS PROVIDES!" As their forces grew in number, so did their devotion for their Queen. Slowly as her storm's rage carelessly laid waste to the landscape, the troops' simple minds began to create meaning towards Jadis's mindless destruction. Her storm provided the fuel for the forges, the heat created life within the once cold caverns. Jadis created life from destruction.

"JADIS PROVIDES!" Slowly the Queen of Ice and destruction, turned from their angel, to their Goddess of life. Their simple minds either did not notice, or did not care towards the growing violence of the blizzard, their 'Goddess' crushing many of the 'life' she helped create.

Saruman had failed her, Jadis had witnessed through the Uruk-hais own eyes the hunting parties' defeat against the Riders of Rohan. The Narnian beast had not even made it past the borders of Fangorn Forest, the Queen's anger towards the wizards' incompetence mounting as Jadis's hold on the creature faded under the men's care. Even in fever filled dreams the Queen could not reach the cheetah, and without the beast she remained imprisoned within her own Winter Wasteland.

Her wrath would not be so great if it wasn't for the untimely arrival of the Son of Adam, Edmund. A rebellion was forming, an uprising in Aslan's name set to dethrone her, the threat of her Lord Sauron held no fear over her subjects, their memory of his past tyranny having long since faded from their minds.

Tucked away within his high tower, Saruman sat hunched over his desk within his darkened chambers, a pile of jumbled parchments lay before him chaotically as he frantically continued his torturous studies. A war was raging within the wizard's mind as his Queen screamed endlessly, she wished for council yet he had none to give. The border between Middle-Earth and Narnia must fall and open soon for Jadis's rule over Narnia would be at stake and from it his Dark Lords plan would be in the balance.

The Ring was lost to the wilds, calling to his master yet avoiding his reach. Despite their own amassing forces without Jadis and her armies the war was not won.

The wizard dabbed a crimson soaked handkerchief to his nose as another gush of blood dripped onto the papers beneath him. Saruman needed to find answers, the brutal pounding of his head continued to grow agonisingly as the roars of angry Polar Bears echoed within his mind. Time was not on his side, despite overturning every scrap of knowledge held within his vast Library he had found nothing new.

'MORE MANA, PURE BLOOD'

The beast Calypso had been a convenience, the Narnian made known to the wizard through Gandalf the Grey yet the beast availed him. Saruman was aware of the other Narnians scattered across Middle-Earth, King Thranduil's Elk Mount was the most noticeable yet the mount was too well protected and time was not on the wizards side either. The white rabbit hiding within the world of men was his only other known pure-blooded Narnian, the rest were too well hidden or dead.

The mindless wildmen had failed him in capturing the rabbit, much as his Uruk-hai had failed him in delivering the beast. Another gush of blood ran from the pitiful man's nose as a dagger pain erupted behind his eyes. Suddenly the wizard was not looking upon his penmanship but gazing upon the image of his Queen as she focused his attention towards her.

She stood before a frosted mirror, the wizard was seeing the world through his Queen's eyes, and Jadis did not look pleased, dressed for war she was a vision of gold and prosperity. She had not summoned him to hear his excuses so instead he begged a plea.

"My Queen I implore you for more time, I will not fail you my Queen I-" " YOU HAVE ALREADY FAILED ME!" Jadis bellowed, the mirror freezing over in spider web frost as her anger finally snapped. Jadis took a deep breath, the mirror before them clearing as she calmed. "No matter," she finally spoke, her voice so cheery it scared the wizard more than her anger.

"I have resolved matters for now, a small matter of a rebellion army to deal with but nothing in comparison towards what I have already achieved." Jadis boasted, with nimble hands Her Imperial Majesty fitted herself proudly with a cape and headpiece. "Aslan is defeated, without him the four would be kings and Queens of Narnia will never survive. No doubt the battle will be long but the victory will most definitely be mine."

"My Queen, I will continue my studies, I will march the Uruk-hai to deliver the beast I will not -" "Fail me?" Jadis interrupted, her long skeletal fingers twirling the lion mane mindlessly as she admired her trophy of war.

"I have had enough of such promises so tell me no more. Sauron wishes for an army of fighting Uruk-hai to end the bloodlines of Adam for good. Deliver what you promised him and I will overlook your failures. As for the beast, sooner or later the descendants of Adam will betray her. We simply need to capture her when they do"

"As you command my Queen. I will breed an army large enough to wipe out the world of men. They will march for their Lord Sauron and their Goddess Jadis."

"Goddess?" Questioned Jadis, the sickening smile pulling on her lips showing her pleasure towards the title. "Goddess," she murmured again, looking almost in thought. "I suppose Aslan is dead. The title of Goddess would be fitting."

          "A god for a god."
